'This property was perfect for our group. It had a large gathering areas where we could all talk and have fun together for amazing times. It also had casitas for each nuclear group to have private space too. It was great because the Wi-Fi and the pool kept teenagers happy and engaged with each other. It had areas to keep the adults happy all together or for more intimate areas to catch up with others one-on-one. I would definitely stay here again.'

The pool was a bit too cold for most of us during the day & wished the hot tub was accessible for the cooler nights. Sat around the fire one night & made s'mores. All of us love the Hill Country so this place was great.'

'My family and I stayed here Easter weekend & we had fun and enjoyed every bit of it! The property manager sent me reminders throughout the week of what I needed to bring/directions. The location was great, it was nice and peaceful. We spent the weekend hanging out on the porch, bbqing and playing cornhole, which was already on the property! There were some other games in the living room which we also enjoyed. We really enjoyed our getaway & it was pet friendly so we got to bring our fur babies...

My family and I loved the cottage, all clean, comfortable, safe, the response to our needs was immediate and friendly. We have stayed at other cabins in the area in the past, but this one will now be our favorite place to stay; we are already planning our next vacation time there again. '

'This property has a great location. Super close to everything you need on River Rd. It is stocked with the basic necessities. Plenty of space for everyone. Some of the other reviews mentioned the a/c not keeping up. There are notes near each thermostat telling you exactly how low you can go with the temp. I’m 51. 72 is warm for me but the other guests were ok. We were also on the river during hottest parts of the day. It cooled down nicely at night. 😊'

'We had 4 couples and 4 kids, and booked almost 2 years in advance for the eclipse. The Rusty Rio is quaint and what it appears to be....a fun and "campy" spot. The only gripe we had was that when we booked, we filtered rentals that had hot tubs, and hot tub was listed as an amenity. It didn't work, and likely hasn't for many years. When we contacted the host, we were advised that it does not work and never has, and that the amenity listing was an error. With that being said, everything else was...
