Dit huis aan het meer heeft 5 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers. De slaapkamergroottes zijn: 2 slaapkamers met kingsize bed, 1 slaapkamer met queensize bed, 1 volledige slaapkamer en een slaapkamer met 4 stapelbedden. Voorzieningen zijn onder andere; Flatscreen-tv's, bovendek met panoramisch uitzicht op het meer en comfortabele stoelen, glazen schuifdeuren door het uitgestrekte uitzicht op het water. Vuurplaats en patio met zit- en eetgedeelte buiten, buitendouche, twee kajaks, twee paddle-boards, waterfietsen, gastronomische woonkeuken, mooi steen- en tegeldetail en een travertijn betegeld bubbelbad in de Master en suite. Inloopkasten, landschapsarchitectuur en een 2 slip onlangs gerenoveerde dock met een bar en een kookgedeelte. Comfortabele zitjes op het bovendek en bij de vuurplaats. Geniet van het einde van de dag met het fantastische uitzicht op de zonsondergang voor het vuur in stenen vuurplaats. Kook wat s'mores of vuur de grill aan en ontspan in deze prachtige luxe omgeving. Dit huis is ontworpen om grote groepen en gezinnen te huisvesten, we hopen dat u er net zoveel van geniet als wij!

Beautiful House

My wife and I had rented another property and checked in when someone else showed up stating they had rented the property. VRBO screwed up and did not complete our booking and we had to leave. Betsy and David scrambled to complete our booking for their lovely home on very short notice, their very sweet daughter was still cleaning the house. She offered to help carry our bags in! Unfortunately there were many steps on a steep hill down to the boathouse and the water. My wife has severe scoliosis and one trip to the boathouse put her in so much pain we had to leave after one night. It's a beautiful property but just too many steps for us.

Beautiful home

We loved this house. It was beautiful, and cozy. The lake was so refreshing and we enjoyed spending time out there. I especially love that there are whole walls of glass doors. The beds were comfortable, the couches as well. The linens were so enjoyable. The area was gorgeous, and the only issue we had was with the road - so not connected to the owner at all. It was a rough road leading to the house, so I recommend that you take it slow!

I think the house was spot on for the price. Wonderful location with stunning sunset (as the property title implies)- just a little run down. Didnt mind the condition of the property because it was clean and safe and the location was awesome. Owner was very responsive- but needs to update the listing (no coffee grinder, no green egg, should mention the crazy gravel driveway). We enjoyed our time immensely and it was ideal for our size group (10). I cant imagine having more than that (perhaps 11). The outdoor space makes this property top notch and we would definitely visit again. Just tiny updates needed to make it the best!!

The property is ok. We stayed here before so we knew what to expect. The pros: the amount of space The empty dock for our personal boat The property manager was very responsive Cons: only 2 tvs in the home and they don’t work we stayed in 2020 they didn’t work and now in 2023 still don’t work The internet is not the best but allowed everyone to connect The pest are pesky Rat droppings in the upstairs bathroom The master bathroom tub has small bugs coming out the hot tub Did inform the site manager and hopefully he gets someone out I don’t know if I’ll stay here again but overall the property is ok maybe not worth the price but honestly just needs some TLC (tender love and care)

Peaceful Retreat

The beautiful waterfront views are the highlight, possibly the nicest spot on the lake. Beds are very comfortable. Natural lighting throughout the house. Very peaceful retreat and suited our family. Thank you for making your house available!

This house and location is optimal. Well laid out for entertaining and relaxing. The outside property is in need of some work. The dock had some issues. Holes, crappy chaise lounges cushions, the kayak (missing the back board) and paddle boards were in solid mud and there was no operating hose to clean them off. Please send a landscape crew with a power washer and blower. After that is done, this place is PERFECT. BTW - we had no issues with water supply - there were 6 of us.

Great proximity to VIR

It was a great location to the track. House was clean and comfortable. Very peaceful being on the lake, we’re fortunate and had great weather. Only comment is the gravel path to the house, you needed a truck or SUV.

We had a great family gathering at this property. The property has a lot of positives, it's a very nice space, really cool location, with an amazing boat house. The owner was responsive when we ran into a minor issue. With some TLC this would be a 5 star property, but the outside needed a good cleaning (lots of dirt on the deck and house), and the boat house was missing a multiple boards (pretty big safety issue).

This property is amazing! Right on the water, with sunset views. Convenient location to the marina and boat launch. Our grandkids enjoyed the 4 person bunk room and all the adults enjoyed the upper and lower decks that ran the full length of the house. Fishing right off the dock. There was an open boat slip that we used and the owner provided stand-up paddle boards, a small kayak, and a few life vests, which worked out well for the kids.

Unique House

Loved the uniqueness of the house. Should have been cleaner, dock filthy, fireplace ash on hearth and coffee table, coffee pot dirty with old coffee grinds still in it, plus the one "bedroom" had a bed so high it needed steps. When we arrived we could not get in because the code was never sent to us. It was hanging on the refrig but that didn't help us. Took over 30 minutes to get in and my poor 92-year old mother had to use a restroom which we did not have access too. No internet service. Is not handicap friendly for walker or wheelchair. We should have asked.

Relaxed After Track

Four of us close friends enjoyed cooking, spending time by the fire at sunset, and most importantly, the beautiful space the house offer. Everything worked fine, love the modern digital cooling/heating system, and quiet by the make. Driveway offers plenty of car space. Great place to relax and rest after driving all day.

Hyco Lake Houe

The lake view was excellent . We were misled in sleeping arrangements thinking there were four separate bunk beds and there were no paddle boats as advertised . We had two people that had to sleep on a couch. The water heater was not large enough to provide adequate hot water. There were wasp nests at several doors that we had to buy spray to eliminate the problem . The boat dock was dirty with allot of spiders and wasp. Several in our party were stung during the week. Driveway was very rough and had to use extreme caution driving in and out!

Secluded get away with an elevated view of the lake. Many indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy the natural setting with lots of lake activities. Amenities fully stocked. Cool layout of the home with a modern/rustic vibe.

Great house on a beautiful lake

We were 9 adults staying in this 5 bedroom/3 bathroom on Hyco Lake. The owners did a great job of remodeling this two story house by updating a wonderful sun room with 16 glass doors, 8 which open. This sun room is the living and dining room on the lake side. This room is nicely furnished in white canvas. Very striking. They also remodeled the bathrooms, kitchen and outdoor deck upstairs. The deck is accessible from both upstairs bedrooms and has a great safety fence which doesn't disturb your view of the lake. We had every dinner on the patio, 4 steps down from the sunroom. It has nice furniture, two square tables for 4 chairs each and a loveseat and two chairs with ottomans. We were able to place seating for 9 at the two tables for 4. What was missing on their description was the location of each bedroom and a description that would help potential renters know how many stairs there are inside and outside. This is especially important for an older person or one with knee problems. The living room, dining room and every bedroom (except the bunk bed room) has a lake view. Ground floor: Master Bedroom and bath. The shower only had cold water. Bunk bed room: There are 4 bunk beds but no windows that open. Double bed room: The bed was 38 inches off the floor and the only way into it was with a step stool. From this bedroom there are 3 steps up to the bathroom, which is shared with the bunk bed room. We slithered out of the bed on our back to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Upstairs: Two bedrooms and one shared bath. These bedrooms need to be sprayed for spiders. The dock is spacious and is 40 + steps down from the patio outside the living r. There is a little room on the dock with a bar and a standard fridge with a freezer. I have never smelled such a stinky refrigerator. The dock furniture is nice and there are stairs to climb out of the water We rented a boat from the marina. We found this out by calling the marina, which also has great The kitchen has most everything you will need. The refrigerator was clean but the freezer had not been cleaned in some time. There is a large parking area that held our four cars. The fence that was supposed to hide unused furniture behind the house had fallen down and was laying on the lawn. There is nice outdoor lighting everywhere. We wanted to use the fire pit but we didn't have matches or lighters. This place is just in need of a little TLC. The sunsets...perfect!
