'My wife and I spent 3 relaxing days at this property which was immaculately clean and quiet with a very attentive and personable host (Wendy). The bunkie itself is in excellent shape right on the lake shore and we had full access to all the watercraft and amenities. One of the real highlights was the warm outdoor shower which was a real treat after a day of swimming and kayaking. The bunkie is west-facing so we could enjoy the sunsets every night with a glass of wine. The lake is a bit rocky so...

'Loved our stay! I loved this location as well! Perfectly between Toronto and Montreal! And also close to thousand islands! Loved it! Was very clean and well organized! We chose to also get the food offered for amazing prices! Honestly think this was worth more than what we paid! Thank you for the perfect experience! Definitely hope to get the chance to come back! 'The cottage was rustic and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. Greg was kind, easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful. This cottage is very close to Charleston Lake Provincial Park, and we made great use of the park pass that was included with our stay. 'It was a delight to walk into the cottage and see the lake through the wall of windows. My daughter and I spent as much time as we could outside- sipping morning coffee in the Muskoka chairs on the new dock, reading in the shade of the black willows and enjoying the quiet of the lake. My son and his family came up for the afternoon and the kids loved the kayaks and the dinner on the outdoor deck. The A/C was a bonus as the heatwave continued throughout our stay. 'Nous avons passé un superbe séjour en famille dans ce chalet. L’intérieur est très bien avec ces 4 chambres, salle de bien fonctionnel, air climatisé, et air ouverte. Nous avons adoré le quai principal (facile d’amarrer un bateau) et le quai flottant pour la baignade. 'Many reviews substantiate that Bedford Lake House is a 5 star property. Check-in, Facilities, Wi-fi, all first class. For our three-generation family of 7 including two young girls of 5 and 7 what made our stay so special. First, the view from the cottage over Devil Lake, the sunsets were amazing. Second, the flower and vegetable garden - where are young girls filled their buckets every day with ripe tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, peppers, beans, herbs, strawberries, beets .. the list goes on....

'The stone cottage had a nice view of the lake, a fire pit, big tables for games and meals with family. Very relaxing and quiet. The loons on the lake were close by--loved their calls to each other! It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. If you have little children, the outdoor patio has a drop off that you would need to use caution with. We would definitly recommend this place. '

"De kamer is heel basic, wel schoon. Houd rekening met muggen zo dicht hij het water. Muggen zijn ook de reden dat de kamer een anti-muggen geur heeft gekregen. De airco maakt helaas weer een hoop geluid. Het hotel ligt op een fijne plek. We vonden het relatief duur, in hoofdstad Ottawa hadden we voor vrijwel hetzelfde geld 2x zoveel ruimte, comfort en voorzieningen. Let wel op; in deze buurt geen bereik met je databundel. En helaas ook slecht wifi bereik. Dus kom hier niet als je iets op je mobiel wilt doen. "
