'Whole experience was wonderful from arrival to departure. Room gave a unique but very comfortable experience and food albeit Bed & Breakfast was 1st class. Superb lunch and dinner venues are literally right outside whilst the service and choice in the bar in board were excellent. Been there a few times now and will our my place to go to when in Edinburgh from now on. The tram stop is about 3 mins walk and takes directly to city centre or airport. Could not ask for more. 'We had a lovely stay at 4 Friends House. The communication beforehand was great and we received a very friendly welcome. Our room was a good size, well-equipped and was very clean. 'Goed ingericht appartement op loopafstand van leuke pubs en restaurants. Niet ver van princess street en de oude stad (heuvel op). Bushaltes dichtbij. Het was schoon (dagelijkse kleine schoonmaak) en stil ondanks slapen met open raam (behalve de bovenburen). Goed bed, alhoewel voor Nederlandse begrippen erg klein (140 cm breed, maar dat zag ik bijna overal in mijn zoektocht). De keuken is goed ingericht met koffie en thee en melk en er is zeep en afwasmiddel enz aanwezig. Het enige wat we misten...

'Great location. You wouldn't even know it's in the top floor of a mall. Hotel has a private entrance to the street once you check in which was very convenient. Staff was very freindly, rooms were clean, and the place was very quiet. Great walking location for anywhere in Edinburgh. We never even need a car. Coffee and croissants in the lobby were perfect for on the go. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning an extended stiay in Scotland. '

'Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, everything was nice and clean. I really liked the authentic look of the hotel. Only 8 mins walk from Princes street and close to nice shops. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. We even got to leave our bags in the hotel after we checked out. I will most certainly come back and recommend it to others!'
