'The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel.'

'The bed and breakfast is Cowes was in a great location. It was easy to walk to town and parking for our vehicle was provided. The hosts were terrific - providing great recommendations for dinners and things to do. The breakfast was delicious and was a great start to our day. The hosts’ 2 dogs were so CUTE!'

'Prima locatie in het hart van West Cowes, directe en frequente via boot en bus. Personeel is voorkomend en behulpzaam. Accomodatie is sterk verouderd en aftands, tegelijkertijd is de dagelijkse roomservice goed, en de bedden comfortabel.'

'No door key as all digital, had to use phone which is ok but only gives access to 1 person. Shower temperature was luke warm at it's hottest, shower gel dispenser didn't work. Also the air-conditioning didn't work, had to use the fan instead. Room was noisy due to the adjacent pub.'

'Situated in the heart of Cowes right on the High Street. We stayed here one night to attend a family party. It was perfect for 1 night, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Anchor is a lively, popular pub serving local beers and weekly live music. The room had some ear plugs provided but we didn't need them, a nice thought though.'

'Nicely presented, central location, generally clean, though not sure about the towels. Not too noisy given location. However, our stay was during the hottest days on record in May and the apartment was hot and there was no air conditioning or fans to regulate the temperature.'

'Terrible! Worst experience in a hotel ever! The outside building and front look nice but it’s a facade. Our room was on the backside, you have to pass a trash area and an ugly fence to get there, feels like you are put behind in a shed somewhere. The stairs up to the room were dirty and worn out. A dirty cleaning towel lying next to our door. The whole room was worn out, paint coming of etc. The bathroom so small you couldn t use the sink when you had the door open. The shower was broken,...

'Attractive old house close to seafront. I had to share a bathroom, but as the house wasn't full this didn't present a problem.'
