'We were celebrating with our family the 45 years of marriage of my parents. The house and facilities were clean and great. The view, the pool, pizza oven and garden were our favorites. We have visited Lucca and Collodi during this week. As this house is in the wine area of Tuscany we visit one of these wine houses. The contact and communication with the family of the house was very nice, quick and enthousiastic. We had contact with Mario and Elisa. If we had questions, they were there! Thank you...

'We really enjoyed staying in casa al melo. A rural, quiet and lovely place to stay with our family of 4. Altough the pool was not heated, is was a perfect cooling in the hot weather. The view over the moutains were stonning. The owner supplied us regularly with fresh vegetables from their land and local products. A tomato salad never tasted that good 😊. The only minus was that althe supermarket was not closeby, but hey, that’s worth the sacrifice!'

'We were a group of 11 persons. The house was perfect for a large group. Everyone had his own bedroom with private bathroom but we had all meals together. If you like to cook, the house is really well equipped with kitchen facilities. The host was very helpful and attentive. We will be back.'

'De aankomst was heel relaxed. Geen gezeur over tijden, het huis was vrij dus wij waren welkom. En wat een gastvrij welkom. De eigenaar is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het huis is heel compleet en het buitenverblijf is fantastisch. Heerlijk zwemmen en grillen. In de omgeving fijne restaurantjes. Ook daar word je door de eigenaar over geïnformeerd. Kortom mooi huis in een fijne omgeving, centraal Toscane.'

'Bij aankomst was het 16,5 graden in een kil en vochtig gebouw. Je zou verwachten dat de host de verwarming vast enigszins zou hebben aangezet. De verwarming werkte niet, dus de eerste nacht was klam en kil. Het duurde na herstel 3 dagen voor het huis redelijk op temperatuur was. Verder is heel veel heel oud. Bedden, stoelen, keuken. Wel voldoende serviesgoed en bestek. Tijdens ons verblijf doken diverse gebreken op. De eigenaren zijn hulpvaardig, maar de accommodatie is gewoon heel erg matig.'

'Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Ferienhaus in guter und ruhiger Lage sehr genossen. Ein problemloser Check-in, ein guter Kontakt zur Gastgeberin, die gute Ausstattung des Hauses und der Garten, der einen schönen Auslauf für unseren Hund bot, haben dazu beigetragen. Strand, kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß, in etwa 10 Minuten, erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne noch einmal.'

'Wonderful cozy house, just as displayed in the pictures. Great location that is both private for chill time (very spacious and relaxing yard, fantastic pool) and proximate to Lucca, wine tasting and other site seeing. Leandro kept in touch before, during, and just before leaving to make sure we had everything we needed and was super helpful. Highly recommended!'

'Deze vakantiewoning in Toscane ligt zo ver van de bewoonde wereld dat alle gewone dingen die je doet als je op vakantie bent( terrasje pikken, vers brood halen, 's avonds uit eten) een stuk lastiger worden. De coördinaten van deze woning zijn niet te vinden op google: ruim 2,5 kilometer de berg op met allerlei haarspeldbochten, is zelfs voor een ervaren rijder een opgave. Eenmaal boven vind je een nogal gedateerd huis, dat niet toegerust is op zes personen. Zo waren er maar twee wijnglazen, een...

'The Villa was unforgettable, and the Host was exceptional. The Host was extremely helpful. She arranged for dependable drivers and an outstanding cook and provided advice and recommendations on restaurants, trips, etc. The Host quickly responded to problems and questions personally. The Villa is spacious, gated, and very safe. It backs up to the Alpi Apuane Mountains with fantastic views and cool nights. My family stayed a month and enjoyed the Villa and the location. 'Spacious, amazing views, lovely pool'

'This villa has beautiful views accross the valley. Weather was warm but changeable so the undercover eating area was very relaxing. Lots of room and well equipped. Pool lovely. Car recommended as location very hilly. 10 mins walk downhill to a lovely restaurant (ristorante rina). Water pressure could drop making showers challenging. Very nice housekeeper, Beatrice.'
