'Staff are nice but the property needs major renovation. I’m very sorry but the room is dark , smells bad . Lots of dogs , no internet . We left after we saw the room .. the way to the beach have pieces of woods ( there’s construction going on) this resort should not operate yet until it’s renovated. 'The beach is surely the highlight of this resort. While it is showing signs of age, it still offers plenty to do for families. 'This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I booked two rooms, and the other room had a working aircon, but unable to turn off or adjust settings. I even bought new batteries for the remote. SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that?...
