'First time using a hostel, reminded me of being in a military barracks. No frills but it was nice being right on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and gift shops. I was a bit confused by the address of the hostel. The uber driver took us to the address, or rather the block where it should have been, but it is actually on the next street north which doesn't have car access. I would stay there again. '

'New owner is currently upgrading the rooms. New rooms are sublime, 'old' rooms are still fine. Property is along the PCH 1 (Sepulveda Bd) and therefore a little noisy with trafic. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful'

'Manhattan Beach is expensive, but this hotel was quite reasonable in comparison to others nearby. It is well-located and right across from a high-end shopping center featuring a major grocery store, numerous retail stores, and a variety of restaurants. The room was basic but all I needed. Parking was for guests only and seemed adequate for the individual hotel rooms.'

'De kamer was ruim maar wel wat versleten qua interieur. De receptioniste toen we incheckte was heel aardig de anderen ontzettend niet helpend en onaardig. Het ontbijt was prima alleen veel te weinig plek voor iedereen die wil ontbijten. Verder was het fijn geweest als men had verteld dat het verschonen van de handdoeken er niet bij zat. 1e dag zijn we zelf gaan vragen omdat we dachten dat ze het vergeten waren maar dit was blijkbaar iets wat je zelf moest aangeven. '
