'Lovely clean room, a peaceful location, and an easy walk to city centre. The hosts were excellent, going above and beyond - i needed to check-in early as well as a late check-out and when it looked like my taxi wasn’t going to show up they even got me over to the Spirit of Tasmania. I’m not fond of travelling solo, so being looked after by such kind, caring people is a real pleasure. '

'Wonderful experience at Tranquilles. Friendly service from Bev from the moment I checked in and during my 2-day stay there. Comfortable bedding and clean room and facilities. Bev is an amazing hostess - she catered for the birthday function I attended at Tranquilles, serving delicious Thai food as well as the amazing birthday cake. There were great choices for breakfast and the jams/marmalade served were also home-made. Definitely recommend and would stay at Tranquilles on my next trip to Port...

'Our stay at Hawley House was one of the most superb we can remember anywhere. Sophie was very welcoming and obliging - an all-round excellent hostess. Quality accommodation in well-cared-for but still very warm and homely environment. Fantastic views and easy access to both bush and beach make Hawley House very hard to beat. Hope to stay again in future, and for a longer period next time.'
