'Really friendly staff and good location, but the hotel is quite outdated and the beds were not very comfortable. '

'The chalet was really nice with new and modern decorations. Sufficient of cookware and kitchen utensils. The location was perfect for the nearby beaches and local shops. The only downside was about the amount of toiletries. We had 4 people staying for 3 nights, but there were only 2 toilet rolls and tester-sized shampoo and shower gel. '

'I had a good welcome. Room was lovely and clean. The complementary drinks voucher is a very nice touch. Fire in bar most welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Would definitely stay again.'

'On arrival our room was upgraded to a large seaview room with a walk in shower which was a very nice welcome. The Pump room bar is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food both at breakfast and in the evening venues is top notch. Dining is a particular highlight which should not be missed with a very good menu expertly prepared and served to a really high standard. '

'We had a beach view room which was spacious and had an absolutely stunning view over the beach and cliffs over a distance. We came to the island for my son’s fossil hunting. He’s 9. We listened to the high tides at night, absolutely worth it. Even with the window open, it’s still warm during the day in the winter. Will revisit. '

'Had a minor issue with shower, no cups for tea or coffee wasn’t told about whereabouts for breakfast but otherwise good stay '

'Reported toilet not flushing before we went out for dinner, staff said they would fix it while we were out, come back not fixed had to phone again they tried again unsuccessfully and only then offered different room this was 9 o'clock in the evening. Think this could have been handled net'
