'After a long day of emptying a property, we were looking forward to getting to our room and winding down for the night. Upon arrival into the room, it was like an oven opening up the door. It was 30-degree heat outside, and not one window had been left open to help ventilate or keep the room cool. We had to open our main door to try and let some air enter the room as it was absolutely unbearable to stay in there. Then it was time for a shower. 'The location is very convenient, 10-15 mins to the ferry, 3 mins to the nearest bus stop. The staff is very helpful, I was able to leave my luggage after check out for a few hours. However the hotel is located in an old building and the amenities are quite dated. The windows are single glazed and I had difficulty opening and closing them.'

'A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us.'
