'This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!'

'We really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious porch after spending our days fishing in the area. The view of the pond and the comfortable seating were great. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and meal preparation was a breeze. Beautiful scenery but located close to shopping in Lincoln, this was the perfect base for us to float-fish the Penobscot and East Branch. Would recommend, and would love to return.'

'Our family of five enjoyed a fun filled week at Tony's private cove on beautiful Schoodic Lake. We canoed, swam, played endless board games that were at the camp, cooked delicious meals on the grill provided and ended each day with a relaxing camp fire that looked out over the lake. There were plenty of sleeping and hang out spots for everyone, but I enjoyed the screened in porch the most- watching the hummingbirds while drinking coffee. 'The home had most everything that we needed. Loved the location on the lake and the proximity to Baxter State Park and Millinocket! It was quite comfortable. The window blinds need to be replaced so that they are easier to raise and lower, but that is minor. Note that the cold and hot water controls in the lower level shower are reversed.'

'Beautiful home with all the amenities you need to visit this area. Parking is an issue with a group people as you share a driveway with the neighbor. Definitely not a snowmobile destination if you want to access trails from where you stay.'

We came during snow and ice still on the lake, but I can imagine what a perfect place for the summer too. Loved how friendly everyone is in the area. 'Our stay at Stephanie's place couldn't have been more perfect. The place is very new, with a large, well-kitted-out kitchen (we did our own cooking instead of going out). The bedrooms are more comfortable and spacious than they look in the photos; the open living room/kitchen, dining area is large, airy, and comfortable. 'We had six adults on an eclipse trip and needed a big place. This house could use a little work here and there (cracked window) but is roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. Great value for a reasonable price.'

'It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.'
