'Canneto is beautiful. Ristorante Meraglia on the main foreshore road is fantastic. Christiana’s property is high above the foreshore with stunning views. Access is up a very steep slope and once again I wished we packed more lightly. We had to ask for a toaster and blankets and some other things. Initially we were dealing with an agent and obtaining assistance was difficult, but then Christiana’s husband appeared from next door and it was then plain-sailing!'

'Very nice location quiet and very close to port and town. - excellent and fresh breakfast - WiFi only available at reception not in the room! - rooms were spacious - when we arrived the receptionist only spoke Italian No English, French, German or Spanish. Difficult to communicate. - we asked to replace one bed. It was an old bedframe and made a lot of noise. - there was a blood stain on the bed cover. We asked to replace it. Staff said it was no blood. Conclusion: very nice place but...

'Amazing view of the Sea and mountains from the balcony. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and management. Free shuttle to and from port upon arrival and departure. Excellent location within walking distance of town center, port, restaurants etc. Extremely spacious room, with kitchenette. Lipari is a gorgeous island and an excellent hub to explore the surrounding Aeolian islands from.'
