The accommodation was very nice. The location is very idyllic with the view on the Pena palace and Moorish castle. There is a nice pool with all the needed beds and towels available. You have multiple places to sit outside and around the accomodations there is a well maintained garden. A perfect place to relax. In the morning you can have breakfast outside of inside in a nice breakfast area. The location is not in the mid centre, but easily reachable with the car. If you want, you can travel by uber to the city or sightseeing. You can easily go to Lisbon or Cascais, but we recommend to see all the beautiful places/palaces in and around Sintra. You can easily fill a few days with sightseeings and beautiful parks. The room we had was nice and clean. Everything we needed was available. Every day they came and made the bed and placed new towels. Also the service was very nice. We had a delay on our flight and arrived very late. All the time we had online contact with one of the staff. He was very kind and compasionate and wanted to make sure we arrived safely. The next day we checked in and the service was very lovely. We got a lot of tips and tricks for our travel and could always contact them if we needed anything. In conclusion, this is a perfect place if your on holiday and you want a place to relax after a day of going out or sightseeing (and there are a lot of beautiful places in Sintra to see!!). Or even if you want to stay a day at the pool. Thank you for everything!

Alleen maar positieve dingen over te zeggen! Veel tips van Marcel gekregen voor dingen om te doen in Sintra/de omgeving, net als aanraders voor restaurants etc van Marcel en André. Verder eens met alle andere dingen die zijn gezegd in de andere reviews. Zou hier absoluut nog eens terug komen als we weer naar Sintra gaan.

Paradijsje
Jammer dat wij er zo kort waren , mooie ruime kamer , badkamer ruim . En een heerlijk bed.Er staat en piepklein waterkoker en een. Koffiezetapparaat. Het is de bedoeling dat er nog een keukentje komt . Groot terras . En een zeer mooie tuin met een nog mooier uitzicht. Met in de verte het paleis. Er is een zwembad. De quinta ligt wel aan een drukke weg hier geen last van maar kan een beetje lastig zijn bij het aankomen. Sintra het beste te doen met de taxi . Eigenaars echt super lief. Wij zouden graag nog een keer terug komen naar dit paradijsje wat een rust hier .

RUSTIGE TOPLOCATIE.Eigen vervoer/Uber noodzakelijk
Geweldige plek en supervriendelijke mensen. Waar je wel op moet letten is dat je eigen vervoer moet hebben of een uber moet gebruiken om ergens (winkels, restaurants, musea, etc.) te komen; het is veel te gevaarlijk om over de weg te lopen. Men doet dat dus ook niet.

Super verblijf gehad hier, hebben zelfs ons verblijf verlengd omdat het hier zo zalig was. Heel persoonlijke bediening, niets was te veel gevraagd. Het uitzicht was fantastisch, goed ontbijt , en leuk zwembad Kortom top accommodatie

Erg leuke quinta. Mooie ruime kamers met lekkere bedden. ruim terras, heerlijk ontbijt, mooie tuin met overal zitjes en zwembad. prachtig uitzicht over de bergen. Bei André und seinem Team fühlt man sich wie im Urlaub bei Freunden. Der weitläufige Palmengarten ist wild und wunderschön angelegt. Die Lage der Quinta ist (mit dem Auto) perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen.

I always look for properties that have a home feel and Quinta fits that description to the point! The location is excellent, away from the noisy touristy areas and yet close to all the attractions and great restaurants. Parking is abundant, the room was bright, clean and the view is magnificent! We were immersed in nayure with a prime view of Sintra's palaces! Most of all, the way we were treated by staff is something I have only seen in very few places. Everyone was not just helpful and friendly but also very loving and kind. We already have plans to go back.

Great stay at Quinta Verde Sintra! We were welcomed with coffee and pastry upon arrival and our room was ready early. Waited around and napped by the pool area, which is beautiful. Very easy to communicate with Andre and he was more than happy to help with anything we needed including restaurant recommendations and lining up an early morning ride to the airport so we did not have to stress over Ubers. The area is peaceful yet still close to coastal towns, palaces and Lisbon. Well-run, clean, friendly and a great place to vacation! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A wonderful place to stay. Marcel was so helpful in recommending place to park, eat,see etc... property is amazing, would definitely stay here again. My only issue would be the breakfast - we thought it expensive for what was served. However it is optional and you can choose yourself. Thanks for making our stay in Sintra area so memorable

bel endroit. on n y a pas profité vraiment (pluie tout le temps) Facile de laisser ses bagages. A 4/5 km des sites tout de même. Code d accès difficile à avoir lorsqu on n a pas de téléphone local et à 9h du soir... Seul point (très noir) : mauvais petit déjeuner. pour 12 euros par personne, allez ailleurs. deux tranches de saucisson, deux tranches de fromage transparent, omelette hyper salée, jus d orange coupé à l eau, et communication difficile avec la langue. Une impression de rationnement incompréhensible. Rien à voir avec un buffet digne de ce nom. Pourtant l endroit n a pas l air au bord de la faillite. Un gros effort à faire et ce sera très bien ensuite

Wow. This is such a beautiful property! Every staff we interacted with was so helpful and kind. This was a quiet and charming property that acted as our base to experience Sintra, which was a 10-minute drive away. We loved the sweeping view of the valley and the Pena Palace at the top of the hillside. The staff was friendly and helpful, including providing tips on parking and sightseeing. The local restaurants Marcelo recommended were excellent and authentic Portuguese. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore the Sintra area without the hustle and bustle of being in-town.

Our favourite stay of the whole trip!
We booked Quinta for the 2nd night of our trip and we loved it so much we cancelled our hotel for the last 2 nights and came back to Quinta. If we ever come back to the sintra area we will be sure to stay here for at least one night!

Sänky ja patja hyvät. Lämmitys myös hyvä. Vedenkeitin oli rikki eikä saatu toista tilalle, vaikka luvattiin. Viemäri haisi ikävästi. Kuvat antoivat odottaa hieman parempaa. Vierailimme helmikuussa ja todennäköisetu kokemus kesällä olisi ollut parempi.

I'm sorry that you didn't explain the whole situation. Some points that you mentioned are just not true, You booked our cheapest dbl room. We upgraded you to a suite with kitchenette. During your stay, you wish to use the equipment and offer me 7,50 to use it. I always try to meet the needs of our guests. The amount you offered was just to low. We would loose money. Many thanks

Very quiet and beautiful place away from the city. It's about 5 to 10 minute drive from Sintra depends on the time you're driving. It is not a hotel. It is a house that is converted into the hotel. So if you are looking for a hotel this is not the place for you. Staff was very helpful very friendly. Nice breakfast.

Olá Dear Mr Singh, Many thanks for your time to review your stay with us. Nice to realize you find our place quiet and beautiful . As a matter of fact we are on the way from the historical center of Sintra (2,5 miles or 4,3km) to the amazing Magoito beach (4,5 miles or 7,5 km).Sorry but your statement is confusing. First you say it's not a hotel, than you say it's a house turned it to a hotel. To my knowledge, no where on our description you will find the word hotel, however you have booked it through hoteis.com I would say that we are a country side guest house or a countryside bed and breakfast with a nice pool, huge garden and an amazing view over the mountain of Sintra.Clarifying your statement, this was in fact a family house. Back in 1996 we build, totally new, the part that is currently used to accommodate guests. We have a total of 12 rooms split between our 9 accommodations. In the area I assure you that is't almost impossible to finda a 12 bedroom house with 12 bathrooms. I hope I was clear enough. Many thanks for your preference. SaudaçõesAndré Sena

We enjoyed this place so much. The breakfast was excellent, especially the breads. I want come back with my grandchildren in summer time.

Não se confirmou a alegada vista do quarto para a montada, a janela tinha vista para um terraço com parede. Piscina não se encontrava limpa, água turva e com insectos. Pequeno almoço foi ok, nada de extraordinário.

If you want modern this isn’t for you. If you want somewhere traditional and with character then this place is amazing. I loved it and was perfect for my first solo travel. The staff were also amazing.
