The house is located in the heart of Alfama, Lisbon's most traditional and picturesque neighborhood.
This house is a cultural legacy of vernacular architecture. Its restoration sought to maintain the existing elements, taking into account the comfort and modern interior necessary, only that you can feel the beauty and magic of the place.
The apartment has a functional kitchen equipped with the necessary utensils for a comfortable stay and a table in the living room where you can enjoy your meals in a cozy corner. The bedroom has a large and comfortable bed, space to hang your clothes and a balcony where you can enjoy the view of a small square, which offers a stage of life and constant movement, with people passing by and the hustle and bustle of the houses in the square.
In the living room you can relax on the sofa and see, through the window, the narrow street decorated with tiles that reflect sunlight into the house. There is also a table for you to work at.
The building has 2 floors, with 1 apartment per floor, and ours is on the 1st floor, only you just have to go up one flight of stairs to get inside.
The apartment is located in an area with parking only for residents.
Given that it is located in a historic area, the best way to explore the area is on foot and using the public transportation network that serves the area. In a few minutes you can reach tram 28 and some excellent viewpoints. Alfama has many restaurants and cafes. It is where the Fado Museum is located and where you can listen to this style of music at night.
