'Breakfast really exceeded my expectations, lots of choice and great quality, definitely the best breakfast I've had in a hostel. Hostel is very modern and clean, with nice events: I especially loved the Friday $5 lasagna night. Booked a female only room and felt safe throughout my stay, really liked the design of the bunk beds with their curtains, lights and convenient charging points. Only improvement I would suggest right now is proper lockers rather than trays under the beds for personal...

'Wow, what a fabulous place for a Staycation. The buildings are all old and have been left in their original form however the rooms are great, the food great, the location however, fabulous. If you want a break and enjoy a walk and a glass of bubbles or two with a view, this is the place. I have lived in Sydney all my life and cannot believe I have never stayed her before. We will be back every 6 months.'

'Love love loved our stay here. Far exceeded our expectations and walking up the stairs to the beautiful view over Manly beach never gets boring. Found staff were so helpful and friendly ,took time to make sure check in was easy. Apartment had everything we needed,was clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds , plenty of room for a family. Will be our first choice when we come back to Manly'

'Great art deco room for an overnight stay and bed was very comfy. The included breakfast was a bonus and very tasty. A blockout blind for the bathroom door/window so I didn’t feel like I was trying to sleep behind a fluorescent billboard and some ear plugs would have been welcomed.'

'The place and location was great. We booked for 7 people but the kitchen utensils were not enough, the pots were small, and when told the kitchen is complete, i thought there's a rice cooker as well. If they also can replace their nonstick pots that are super scratched...not really safe to use and very old utensils. It just look unclean. but the staff are friendly and easy to deal with.'

'There was some difficulty finding the property and when found there was another car taking up two car spots causing a problem. This car was still taking up two spots even when we left so the owner was not informed. After some time we found the main office and were given the keys. All good helpful people in the office.'

'No soap provided, 3 conditioner 1 shampoo, inside of jug was black, microwave had old food in it, air conditioner sounded like a train, hard open door to patio due to filthy tracks, and $20 for parking. Most expensive room on our trip of 7 days in different rooms/apartments each night.'

'This was our second time staying at Lotus Manly and we loved it! Such a good sized apartment, in a quiet location but still just a couple of minutes walk from the buzz and f Manly beach. The best value for money in Manly. See you again soon!'
