'The property on Lake Michigan was exactly what I expected from the online photos. It was a beautiful place to relax on the beach and enjoy the sunshine.The bonfire pit was a great addition for us to enjoy. The cottage was clean and gave a perfect amount of space for the size of my family. We are definitely going to come back next summer!'

'Its a small but comfy house. Clean and well kept. It had what we needed. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need but bring all spices, sugars and condiments. The best part is you walk out the back door and 20 feet away is the beach. Easy to get to, no stones, all sand. We didn't swim that wasn't on our list to do but we did enjoy campfires and sunsets right on the beach. We saw eagles and pelicans and we enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the beach. 'We had a nice family vacation here. We enjoyed the kayaks and peaceful time near the water. The kids had fun playing. The house was comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with cookware. We enjoyed watching the pelicans swim by, too. We appreciated the many little touches that made the place so comfortable. Would recommend!'

'We had a good time,great weather. The property details need updating. We had no idea that there were two beds in the basement until the septic alarm went off at 1:00 am and we had to go down there. We could have used more towels other than one per person for four days and only one hand towel. The cleaning lady could do a better job, it's not gross.But it could be cleaner. Nice location, beautiful view. Overall it was a nice place.'

'The house is absolutely complete. We had everything we needed, in the kitchen, everything you’d need including sharp knives and new dishes and utensils. Cozy blankets, strong Wi-Fi, (we worked remotely) large TV, wonderful, beautiful view (!) binoculars, all kinds of games. Bird feeders, that we bought bird seed for and enjoyed all the birds and deer that visited. 10 mins from Oconto with grocery store, DG, pharmacy, excellent coffee shop and plenty of bars to choose from. 10/10 we’d come back. 'The photos don’t do it justice. This place is larger, more comfortable and way nicer. We really loved the view of the bay from the huge picture window and watching the pelicans that seem to live in front of the cabin. We were a little sad to leave this special place!'

'This was our second time staying at The Hideway. We love the privacy and setting. The cottage is comfortable and perfect for making food, relaxing and heading a short distance into town. The owner’s responded quickly to our questions.The WiFi is very spotty making it a challenge to watch the TV or go online but that is part of the getaway charm.'

'We had a fantastic experience at this Sturgeon Bay cabin in Door County. The cabin was neat and clean, and our hosts were truly exceptional – very nice and attentive throughout our stay. The host even came by to see if we needed any more towels midway thru our stay. The view of the Bay was beautiful. It was a comfortable and enjoyable retreat, and we'd definitely love to return!'
