Leuk gezellig
Ondanks nog te renoveren uiterlijk waren de kamers reeds gerenoveerd proper en zer confortabel, super mooi ingericht. Geen lift maar voir ons geen probleem. Ideaal met boot naar Liverpool. Zeer Goeie survrice en zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. Aanrader voor kort verblijf.

Geweldige service van de eigenaren. Kamer en badkamer goed. Met de bus of boot ben je zo in het centrum van Liverpool

The Liver View has undergone a beautiful makeover. Rooms are comfortable with a touch of class. Parking is behind the hotel in its own secluded gravel car park and I felt my car was safe. Breakfast is also included and cooked to order and staff were friendly and hospitable. There are lots of lovely restaurants in New Brighton, a short drive away. I was also offered the opportunity to buy a ticket including the ferry and local transport to avoid driving through the city. Highly recommended.

What an absolute gem of a hotel! Spacious, clean rooms with super comfy beds and some with wonderful views over the river. Lots of downstairs space to hang out too, with a good quality pool table - perfect for enjoying a couple of beers before a night out. The ferry crossing is a stones throw and the breakfasts are beautifully cooked with excellent produce (fresh farm eggs, soft thick toast etc.) We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome from Dave and his mum and thoroughly enjoyed our chats over breakfast - they were also supremely patient when we managed to lock ourselves out of our room twice!! Thank you so much for your hospitality and helping us to have an absolutely wonderful weekend. Carla, Chris, Jemima and Wilf :))

L’hôte Dave est vraiment gentil et il vous donne des conseils pratiques sur comment se rendre à Liverpool et les activités à faire. Le petit déjeuner est compris et le déjeuner est fait maison et copieux, un vrai régal. Une ambiance familiale et chaleureuse y règne.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had at The Liver View. Our host, Dave, and his “mum” treated us like royalty throughout our five night stay. “Chef” Dave prepared excellent breakfasts each morning, gave us great input on how to get around, and things to do. The property was clean and comfortable, and the common area(s) provided a nice social setting to mingle with other guests. The location is as advertised with close proximity to Metro buses as well as the Mersey ferries. On a scale of 1-10 stars I would give them a 12!

The property is in a rather basic area with no cafes or restaurant facilities within reasonable distance. The property itself is fine and the attention of the personnel running it is very good. There are bus services close by.

Our stay at the Liver View Hotel was excellent. In very close proximity to the Mersey Ferry terminal and walking distance to some very good pubs for evening meals. The owner, Dave, and his mum were an absolute delight to meet and made our stay so enjoyable. We loved staying here and will make an effort to get back in the near future.

We were only there for a 3 night stay. We were made very welcome from check in to check out. The host was very informative about local attractions and also took the time to interact with the guests about where they had visited or planned to visit (and gave information on how to get there) The room was very clean and bright and the bed extremely comfortable, also had a good view across to Liverpool. The only negative was that we had to leave too soon! Will definitely return and very highly recommend.

Amazing experience ! Very nice location where you can take the ferry to get to the other side of the town. We absolutely loved how friendly the service was. There was a good choice of cooked and uncooked breakfast options and portions in the morning (included). The price was reasonable given it was the Thursday before Eurovision. Seeing that it was a family run business was very sweet, but the star of the show has to be Briscoe and the incredible tricks that he can do. I should explain that Briscoe is the adorable dog that lives at the hotel.

Amazing host (and super cute dog)
Host was lovely and really helped us out when we needed something. They have the cutest dog who hangs out in the reception area. The room was clean and the bathroom was a reasonable size with a roomy shower. The walls are a bit thin though, so best to keep your voice down late at night so as not to disturb others. We didn’t get a chance to sample breakfast as we had to leave very early in the morning, but we’ll definitely stay again and try it next time!

I found the hotel was a great pick for my stay in Liverpool. The service was wonderful especially from the staff who were very helpful and friendly, this made our stay better. The hotel has great transport links, buses, underground train and ferry. If I return to Liverpool again I will definitely stay at the hotel again. Thanks!!
