We stayed two nights at Waterfront Lodge, the first night in a tent and the second night in a Riverside room.
So this is a summary of both nights.
The tent has electricity (one contact) for light and fan and two - yes - rather comfortable beds. There is WC and showers in the service room. (Tip: Bring your own soap). You also get a (safe) lock to the tent.
One of the best things with Waterfront Lodge is that a tent guest is NOT "discriminated" - and has access to all areas as any other guest on the lodge. (OK, you might to carry your own bags to the tent).
We really recommend the (big) main pool, the SUPERB breakfast buffet and the restaurant with reasonable prices and BIG portions. (Doggybags are offered!). And just think about having breakfast at the Zambezi river shore.
The "party sunset cruise" also departs from Waterfront Lodge - which can be convenient, when FREE drinks and food are offered on the cruise.
Our second night, we stayed in a luxurious riverside room - with sofas 3 meters from the Zambezi river shore. For an Scandinavian - this is so exotic! Well, it does not happen very much - except some birds and monkeys.
We DEFINITELY recommend Waterfront Lodge!
