'I’m sure the inside of the property was nice. But, when we arrived at the building, we decided not to get out of our car. The area did not look safe. The building looked rundown with broken windows, and AC units hanging out of them, the road itself was full of potholes and trash. The “gated parking lot” looked like a dump. Check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 PM, which is already quite late for a hotel stay. I received access information at 3:50 PM, but then at 4:16 PM, 16 minutes after check-in time, I received another message telling me to disregard the check-in details because the room would not be ready until 5:30 PM. I had no advance notice, and this created a major inconvenience as I had an event at 6:00 PM and needed access to the room to get ready.
