'Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building,with yes a little patina around the edges.If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available.The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales,and a huge car park.'

'We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10.
The lodge was clean and quiet with great views down the valley.
Getting into the hot tub when we came back from visiting the local sites was a joy, lying...

'What a nightmare of a place. It felt unclean upon entry to the property. There are filthy steps up to the property…good thing I don’t have a mobility problem…and the paving slab on most steps rocked dangerously. On entry the property felt immediately unclean. We could hear voices in the room ad noticed that there is an unlockable door from the bedroom into an office and we could hear an interview for a member of staff in process.
We returned to the pub across the road and the same helpful...

'Everything at the Mount Inn was excellent. It was easy to find, the staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, the shower worked well. Soap, shampoo, tea, coffee and milk all provided. Breakfast included - a wide choice - the full english if required! Coffee muslei and fruit for me was just what I wanted. Excellent place, I would definitely stay at the Mount Inn again.'
