'A fantastic hotel in a stunning location. The rooms were modern with ye-oldie charm. The food was delicious. The bar closed early and the road a bit noisy, but this was ok after my night nurse and vodka! Get the train to Aberystwyth if you really must go there. '

'We enjoyed a lovely time at the Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service. Breakfast was also delicious and had a good selection of hot and cold food. I would definitely recommend a stay.'

'Maintenance was bad, not well cleaned. Very unprofessional follow up on fire alarm (twice in one night). Owner not sensible to guests with broken night. Poor breakfast. '

'When we arrived there was no room for us, the manager had Made a mistake, but he promised to solved this problem. He did send us to 2 other hotels, bur those were very por rooms from 70 euro and we did pay 113, then he sais there was notting else but a appartment but that the price was 160 pound, we had to pay 30 p. and he would pay the rest. But when we did see the bill off the appartment, iT was only 130.-. So he did make a mistake wich we had to pay for! A very nasty expirance!'

'Absoluut tophotel. Op dijk van Aberystwyth, op wandelafstand van alle sights en attracties. Super-vriendelijke ontvangst, heerlijk ontbijt. Kamers ruim en gerieflijk, voorzien van al het nodige comfort. Gemene delen zijn zeer gezellig. Bar-restaurant van hotel was in 2017 terecht verkozen tot beste van de stad. Geen luxehotel maar in zijn categorie absoluut een aanrader!'

'This hotel was lovely. Rooms were spacious with a four poster bed. Beautiful en suite. Food was mind blowing. Presentation and taste. Drinks at the bar very well stocked and staff were so helpful. They really couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. '

'The staff were so helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The food was out of this world, so tasty and beautifully presented. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a huge walk in shower. There was a kettle and a wide variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits too. We both slept well. The curtains were blackout so weren't disturbed by the light either.'

'Stayed 2 nights as we were dj ing at the Grannell saturday night which is 3 hours from home. Key code system on all doors which is easy to follow. Rooms were clean and have tv, tea coffee facilities, also lots of hanging space. Beds were comfy. This is a pub with a restaurant, we dined twice and the food was phenomenal, the sunday carvery was excellent. Good choice of drinks. The whole team and regulars made us feel welcome for the whole time we were there. The staff and management couldnt do...
