'Way overpriced for what you get. Old reputation may be good but that must be years ago. Noisy room. No cleaning of rooms when you stay longer than 1 night. Old building. The staff tried to do their best but can not help the problems this hotel has.'

'The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and a good choice. The bar is open well seated and out side sitting area. the external fabrication could do with improving for a better welcoming. Unfortunately stairs were a bit much travelling to our room accommodation. But it's only @8 times in a day.Try ground floor. Shower pressure quite low, toilet floor needs a better clean. All in all not bad in our experience. Thanks to all staff.'

'Gelukkig maar één nacht verbleven in dit hotel. Niet gezellig, badkamer ruikt niet fris, oud decor, oud en beschadigd meubilair, flink gat in badkamer deur. Het ziet er niet echt schoon uit. Pluspunten: goede douche, en de bedden en handdoeken waren schoon. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Twee-persoons matras is hard. Eén-persoons bed is ok. Dunne kussens. Full English breakfast is ok. 'This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. 'We had a lovely relaxing stay at a fantastic property in a beautiful part of the world. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a small patio outside to chill. Food was great and we will certainly be returning.'

'Decent apartment, aimed at long stay I’d guess. Comfy bed No toiletries, would have liked tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll or something kitchen wise…and a dishwasher rather than a washing machine…but as I say fine for longer stay Also lounge sofa smelt bodyish Good communication though '

'Receptionist was so rude on arrival she didn't know about our booking and made me sign a piece of paper with print too small to read before giving us the key to our room. Telling my concerned partner that it was something to do with being added to marketing list for emails. When we paid for our room my partner & I expected to be able to use all the facilities described on your website. However we arrived to find the hotel full of drunken wedding guests. 'Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. '

'Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. '
