"This was a 1 night stay. The bar and service was very friendly & efficient. However overall, for the €172/night (converted from GBP) paid we had expected a better quality standard, notably on the following items: 1. narrow double bed (140-150cm?) with uncomfortable mattress 2. at 11pm insufficient hot water pressure in the shower (was OK in the morning) 3. noisy (large group of guests? maybe even outside?) late evening/night time and also before 7 in the morning 4. maintenance: bathroom fan not working "

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
