Slechte start
Bij aankomst om 22.00 uur bleek de verwarming op onze kamer niet aan te staan. Het was ijskoud op de kamer. Moe van de reis direct naar bed. De heater niet aangezet want deze maakte een irritant geluid. Extra dekens waren niet mogelijk want er was geen house-keeping meer aanwezig. Andere kamer was ook geen optie. Volgende dag misschien, moest nog bekeken worden. Hele nacht koud gehad in bed. Geprobeerd met onze jassen over ons en badhanddoeken warm te houden !!!! Volgende dag gelukkig een andere kamer gekregen die wel voldeed. Eerste nacht was een fiasco. !!!! Kamer lag bovendien dicht bij een drukke weg terwijl we om een rustige ligging hadden gevraagd vanwege slaapproblemen. Gevraagd om refund voor de eerste nacht. Is nog in behandeling.

These rooms are in serious need of a total revamp. Moldings loose, paint worn to bare wood, sloppy caulking of joints. Lamp shades starting to fall apart and the bathroom fans are extemely noisy etc. Getting to the point where one feels one is not getting good value for the money. Yes, it was under 100.00, but that is still a lot of money .... especially if one is on a fixed income. I also never felt like I was welcome there. No smiles from the sign in staff. It was almost as if I was interrupting their day bu showing up.

Really enjoyed my stay at the knights Inn. Cute little set up, we got a smoking room and that’s just what it was. The one mattress was a bit slanted and could be replaced. Was relatively quiet and safe. I will definitely stay here again.

We paid extra for a smoking room and still were housed next to screaming infants. Front desk male was rude and barely spoke english - frustrated that i needed him to repeat myself. The people inspecting our room were late and tried to tell my fiancé that pre existing damages were our fault we, in fact were incovenienced by the broken window and burn holes. Front desk female at checkout equally rude when my concern grew to a panic as it would be a $200 fine. Never staying here again. Do not reccommend

The hot water tap was almost broken off the tub was dangerous very slippery...the curtains were old and worn out looked like rags...only stayed 1 night it was good enough for me but they should really make the bathtub safer and fix the taps...the bed was fresh clean and comfortable..for the price it was okay...

Not appropriate for families
It didn’t look safe for my son and I to stay there so we left but still had to pay for the room plus another hotel to stay in. It is a motel which was not evident from the description or photos.

We cannot refund in this case as you would have checked about our location and canceled reservation 24 prior with Expedia. The room was basic. No hook up for devices unless you had a plugin cord. We had 2 very small bath towels, 1 hand towel and 2 face cloths. We called for extra bath towels and were told no. The manager/owner was not very friendly. I would not stay there again nor recommend it.

Knight’s Inn London, Ontario
Knight’s Inn offers a great stay for an affordable price. I often stay here when I’m in London. The location is great being close to Argyle Mall and lots of shopping and dining options.

Not All Knights Inns Are Created Equal
I am unfamiliar with London but have had good experiences with Knights Inns in other communities when travelling. This location was in a more industrial part of town. There was rubbish in the yard (old mattress etc.). The bathroom was clean but there was a need for repairs and deep cleaning throughout. I needed to move a bedside table to plug in my laptop and it was quite dirty behind. The room generally smelled damp and musty. I had to open the window to air it out and dehumidify it with the aircon. My keycard demagnetized almost immediately and I was pertly accused of having put it next to my mobile after I was told not to. Perhaps they need a better keycard system. The wifi went out during the night a couple of times. The refrigerator and microwave were in good working order and there was plenty of hot water. Passable basic accommodations if you overlook one or two things.
