'Soon after my father's unexpected passing we contacted the hotel with a request for a refund.  We sent several messages and left a phone message explaining the circumstances and that we had to fly home.  We eventually received a message stating that they would not refund our stay even though there was 2 weeks to re-rent it to someone else.  We understand that it was within their rights to not refund our money.
