Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. 'Totally immaculate! Beautifully presented with lovely white sheets, pillow slips and towelling. Not a mark anywhere. Gorgeous gardens, plenty of convenient parking spaces. The property is listed as a " motel" but that doesn't do justice to it. Built around an historic home, it's way more than that. We will stay here again.'

'A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! '
