'The cottage is in a lovely quiet location and comfortable with a homely feel to it. The enclosed back garden is wonderful for dogs and the hosts are very friendly and helpful and provided a great welcome pack.'

Set in beautiful gardens with a duck pond to the rear of the decked areas to the cottages (all private). Could have sat out for hours just enjoying the peace and location. 'Paid for 5 nights, stayed for 1. Host ignored multiple messages, phone number wouldn’t connect. Pillows and pullout mattress beyond unsanitary. Overpowering odour throughout property. Weirdly, there was attention to detail in some areas. Beautiful setting, well maintained garden, great location. Such wasted potential from an uncaring host. 'Cosy, warm and well appointed cottage set in quiet and spacious grounds. The friendly hosts are on hand and able to offer help and advice as needed. The location is good with easy access to nearby towns and to three bird reserves. Overall, one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in over many years.
