'River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. Lanhydrock and Antony are worth visiting. Polperro Fowey and Seaton are nearby and worth a visit. There are steps down to the cottage which need care but we...

'We hebben hier van 21 december tot 30 december met ons drietjes heerlijk vertoeft. Huisje was in kerstsfeer. Heerlijke openhaard. Alles wat een mens denkt nodig te hebben was aanwezig. Bij aankomst stond er allerlei lekkers klaar. Het huisje ligt midden in de natuur. Maar met de auto ben je zo in Looe. De wandeling langs de rivier naar Looe is ook heel erg goed te doen en mooi. Kortom een fantastische plek om vakantie te vieren.'

'The house is very near the harbour, which is good, but it’s a basement flat, so it’s pretty dark and you need the lights on all the time. Also, the ceilings are low and my 6ft tall husband kept forgetting and banging his head. You definitely need to book the luggage taxi as the designated car parking space is up a very steep, narrow hill. Well situated for walking the southwest coastal path.'
