The Olive is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom residence. King ensuite and Queen with another bathroom in the hall next to the bedroom. Olive has been lovingly restored to keep the elegance of yesteryear with all the modern luxuries and conveniences. It's charming, well appointed. and secure. A custom kitchen with a refrigerator, gas cook top, oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, dishes and utensils. We provide soaps and towels, coffee, chocolates and wine! You are sure to enjoy sweet dreams in our king & queen plush pillow top mattress dressed with the best quality linens is located inside the historic Pearson's 1886 building which once housed the C.H. Pearson General Merchandise store in Los Alamos. There are two other well-appointed full-kitchen residences. They can be rented together or separately. Magnolia, Olive and Jasmine are named after plantings in the beautifully landscaped courtyard.

Built in 1886, Los Alamos resident Charles Pearson established C.H. Pearson general merchandise store, which remained in operation until 1942. He sold a wide variety of goods including boots, shoes, caps, eggs, confectionery, tobacco, hardware supplies, liquor, to name but a few. The building remains intact with the original wood structure. The front of the building houses the highly regarded Clementine Carter wine tasting room, while the rest of the building has been carefully renovated with an eye to preserve its historic integrity.

Enjoy a glass of wine in the large, inviting garden anchored by majestic olive trees, or a meal with friends at the long table handmade with the old original wood from the building, all the while enveloped by the shade of the olive trees.
