The apartment location was good for what we wanted, 40ish minute walk into the heart of west hollywood. The size of the apartment is great, but it definitely needs some work. lots of scuffs and marks on the walls, a piece of flooring coming up and it rained so we had a leak in the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom. Sheets and towels were all clean and lots of extras.

It’s a clean apartment however there are a lot to be desired. Carpet looks pretty old and dark. They say there hs a sofa bed but when you sit or sleep on it you feel the frame of the sofa. The bedroom downstairs have a constant noise that is non stop. Bathrooms are okay, hot water takes a long time to come up. Bedding feels it’s been used for a decade or more so is the mattress

The only issue with the property (but rather imperative for safety) is the unsecured toilet seats on 2 of the 3 bathrooms. And one minor issue with balcony a bit dirty.

Mal, separé el cuarto por hoteles.Com, me llego un cargo de Pelican que reporte como que no era mío, y luego fue un show volver a poner en cargo… nos habló dorecto el propietario que teníamos que pagar directamente siendo que yo no lo había contratado a él !!!! No hacen limpieza, no cambian toallas !!! No lo deben ofrecer en HOTELES.COM

Hi Moises, we spoke to you about the dispute which you thought was a mistake and realized that it was for your reservation - this has been sorted already. As for the cleaning, please note that these are self serviced apartments and not a Hotel so there is no room service which is very clearly mentioned in the website. Hotels.com is a booking site for different type of properties and not for Hotels only. We work hard to make our guests happy and appreciate your feedback!

It was ideal except the Critters?
Well,it was ideal,we were there for my daughters Birthday,family of 7..very spacious,beds were a bit hard un comfy,woke of tired,we loved that it had 3 baths, little balconie,washer dryer,things were ok untill our car was to tall to fit in garage left it out in the st.that was not good.also in the master bedroom i saw "ROACHES" So that was very discusting! Had to come home leave stuff outside just in case one hopped in to our stuff,so we did not use their blankets or sheets used our own.that was a very nasty....i dont know if i should let them know,call or Email them about that so they can control that and they dont get out of control!?i have video and fotos..but so discussed dont want to post them.

Thank you for your review, Susan. We never heard you had these issues during your stay. We could have sent out someone from the maintenance team to check and confirm the issues when you were there. Our cleaner confirmed there was no roaches or any sort to support your accusation - you only have raised this after your stay and asked for a credit.You also didn't mention that you were bringing a car and haven't paid for parking - we could have advised you of the parking clearance for the building.Nonetheless, we appreciate you giving your time to help us improve our services.

The worst experience we had ever . Changing our booking location without our approval . The new location was in a drug / homeless environment . We left the apartment after one night (1/3) and still deal with Expedia to refund our stay !!!

The building is very secure with separate codes to get in the garage, elevator and room so it felt very safe. The location is great and close to Universal Studios, all the Hollywood attractions, many restaurants and stores. There is a grocery store across the street. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, nice kitchen with all appliances and a washer and dryer in the apartment. The only downside I had with this property was that it did not feel very clean. There was trash under the beds (wrappers/toys/tissues). The bathroom floors and showers did not look very clean and it overall just could have been cleaner. Great location though and plenty of space.

The overall property was great. The beds were great, the cleanliness was great, and the ease of parking was great. Visually inside it’s very unique and the kids really enjoyed that. Also the separation of spaces is ideal.

Spacious and clean, this apartment was a great option for 2 adults and four children. Communication was excellent and underground parking was a bonus! Walking distance to the Walk of Fame, short drive to Universal. So many options! We would stay again for sure.

Felt a little cheated
We were told not to use the pool and gym even though those were mentioned in the description of the apartment. Also the pictures given to hotels.com werent from the apartment. It looked very different. There were some other guests hairs in the showertub, that weren't cleaned before our arrival.

Sorry if you felt it this way however we did check our website and nothing mention about pool and gym access. And since there are multiple apartments of various layouts, actual pictures may vary. However, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, amenities and size of units remain the same in all apartments. Wish you had said something during upon arrival so we could have taken some action. We liked the location behind Ralph’s but felt like we were imposing on the staff. It’s a residential block so casual renters are treated as very much second class citizens.

Terrible service and worst handling of complaints!
1. Even as I gave specific details on my arrival per their instructions, they kept passing me feom one person to call and meet, to another... and we ended waiting a very long time before we found the person who can bring us to our unit. 2. DIRTY really gross dishes in the dish washer and some cups on the sink when we arrived! 3. somebody, which the management later admitted, BARGED INTO OUR UNIT, without knocking! Almost gave my 75-year old mother who has a heart condition, a heart attack. And i have an email from the pelican’s management even practically calling me a liar! Worst service ever already as it is... even more terrible was the handling of the complaints. Contact me before you even consider this place. I am a Managing Director at a prestigious global company and I don’t do complaints for the sake of complaining. This hotel is managed like a fly by night company! I left 3 days earlier than planned and paid for and noone has even come backed to me about my refund. I ended up paying a real hotel (which I recommend you do already)... just so we can proceed with the vacation i have promised my elderly parents

We use a professional cleaning company and these complaints were not found to be true. I am sorry, but as a company policy, we cannot agree your request for compensation on incorrect complaints.
