Good Morning Rhea,Thank you for taking the time to write this review and I am so sorry that the minimalistic aesthetic of the hotel was not to your liking. Our Resort Fee does include complimentary Box Water in the room and for replenishment, complimentary Counter Culture Coffee and teas in the lobby each morning, Wifi and access to our bicycles, surf board and Malibu's only hotel pool. I am terribly sorry if that was not relayed to your upon check in and again, I apologize we did not hit the mark for what you were looking for in your stay.Best,Leah
