'The room was really clean. We were missing the remote and they brought one up right away and made sure it was working before they left. We were greeted with a hello any time we saw staff in the lobby. Everybody working was really friendly. We’ve stayed here before and have always had a really good experience.'

There are a number of bus stops near the hotel that can bring you to Downtown Los Angeles or to Hollywood, Fairfax and Beverly Hills. Along those bus lines you can also transfer to the metro lines, which means you can pretty much reach the entire Los Angeles metropolitan area using public transit using the nearby bus stops. 'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'
