I’ve stayed at this resort before and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, so chose to stay here again this time. The lady at check in was very nice and helpful. We told her we would only need one housekeeping service on Thursday, as we were only there 4 nights. On Wednesday, while we were all in the room, housekeeping opened the door on us. We had the top lock on so it didn’t open all the way, and all we heard was someone sounding annoyed they couldn’t open the door. This obviously scared the heck out of us!! When I went to the door, I realized it was housekeeping. The lady (I didn’t get her name) immediately got angry and said “this room is supposed to be vacant, it’s obviously not vacant if you’re here.” And pointed to a piece of paper that I guess was supposed to prove her point? I said “I told the front desk we only needed service on Thursday.” When she realized her mistake I just got attitude and a half ass apology before she walked off. I ended up apologizing to her even though we did nothing wrong, and got no response back. It was just a wild experience.
That was the only major issue we had with the stay. There were a couple other small things that they’ll hopefully take into consideration: The shower head was messed up in the smaller room and was spraying everywhere. The tv subtitles worked about 50% of the time and it has a volume limit. If you’re hard of hearing, the living room tv is kinda a bust. Especially with the AC unit right next to the couch.
