Overall, our stay met our basic needs, but there were several things worth noting for future guests.The biggest positives were the location and the cleanliness of the home. It was in a convenient spot and the space itself appeared well maintained when we arrived. For the most part, the home was also comfortable enough for a short stay.However, the property didn’t seem well equipped for a family of four. There weren’t even four matching place settings available—some dishes were chipped or broken, and the silverware was largely plastic just to make up enough pieces for four people. The sink faucets were also very dirty when we arrived, which was surprising given how clean the rest of the home seemed.The beds and pillows were unfortunately very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Another important detail that we felt should have been disclosed in the listing is that one of the bathrooms is located outside. We didn’t realize this until the second day of our stay.The house is also very loud acoustically—you can hear almost every noise throughout the space, especially from the bathroom, which may be something to consider for families or groups.Overall, the home worked for what we needed during this trip, but given the issues above, we likely wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
