'* Access requires passage through a wooden gate on the East side of the main front house. Upon trying to enter the closed gate, there was no draw string to pull in order to release the latch. One would have to reach over the tall gate to release the latch. Same thing happened with an interior gate closer to the unit. No draw string attached. Had to reach over again. * We decided to utilize the washer unit in the kitchen area. After about five minutes, we discovered about an inch of water...

'Health - Safety - Sanitation IssuesNext to Freeway. Guy with flashlight walking back and forth along fence. Fences broken, entry lights out, entry stairs chipping off, fall hazard. Musty smell (host offered air freshener?), broken window, black dust on all window sills, from blinds or freeway exhaust? 2 sinks with no hot water, kitchen sink hose hanging down, bath fixtures falling off walls, tub stopper not working NO wifi. Slow responses. No phone contact just provided text. Host kept saying...

'Exceptional hosts, a beautiful space, out of a story book western. The shower/bath is one of the nicest I've been to, and the exansive views are priceless. I extended by a few days, didn't want to go anywhere, just to be and look at the hills and open sky. '

'What I liked about the the property was it was close to the beach. It could have been cleaner than it was. Also part of the reason I get home to stay in while traveling is to cook my own meals. This property had a poor selection of pans to cook with. Other than that it was a good place to stay.'

'Clean room, modern furnishings, unbeatable cityscape view, host was on-call and very very helpful and responsive. Only notable things that went wrong are that the Room code given was the wrong one and we had access code to another unit another party was staying at, and the electrical wall unit short circuited to hairdryer. But other than those, overall great stay.'
