I very much enjoyed my stay here. It was everything a solo traveler needs. Be aware, the standard room is not big. It’s cozy for just yourself if you’re traveling light. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating and friendly people. The location is fantastic. I almost couldn’t believe it. It’s such a great value. Would definitely book again. The only complaint I have is that there isn’t a smoking section. You have to go off property to the alley to smoke. So if you’re in town for a 420 vacation, know that.

The staff at this hotel is outstanding. Bridget and Joanna went above and beyond to accommodate us. Hotel is nice and has a cute courtyard. It’s a little old so the floors creak but other than that it’s a nice place for the money.

It's an older property. So, not everything is shiney new. Much of it was painted over to not look as bad as old. But, the bed was comfy, and it had parking and the right price so I was happy to have found it. I would go there again.

FIVE STARS!! Recently stayed here while visiting the area for a Cedar Sinai appointment. Excellent location (7 minutes away). Neighborhood was quaint and felt very safe; even at night. I can't thank the staff enough for their friendly, welcoming service. The rooms were adorable! Breakfast was good (recommend the fresh waffles). I will definitely stay here again soon! Thank you!!

The BEST hotel Best Location & My favorite in LA
Honestly good luck finding a better location a 2 minute WALK to The Grove. 1 minute walk from Erewhon grocery store. Bath tubs in most of the rooms FREE parking… fresh towels easy to grab from the house keeping cart. Very clean very comfortable. Rooms have window that open to cute courtyard. & the customer service is good. I stay every time we visit LA & we come to LA almost once a month. You will not find a more convenient location. For the reviews that complain I just think their not a room for the small things that come with the price yes It not Waldorf Astoria or Fairmont Century city both hotels we stayed at many times. This place is a bargain & an excellent quality stay. I’ve yet to have a problem here. Except a narrow entrance to an underground garage. 10000% recommend

Milky white drops on toilet seat, noisy AC, slow draining sink, hairs on pillows. Cold frozen microwaveable snacks they call breakfast. My room looked nothing like the room pictured on Expedia. This place is poorly maintained, just like my stay at a previous Best Western. At checkout, I asked for a receipt, but held hostage until someone checked my room, then said it was a mistake because they thought I paid cash. The Manager and Best Western apologized, but I will never use a Best Western franchise hotel ever again. Lesson learned! My experience is they are all run like budget hotels and overpriced because it, in my opinion. I’m sorry I couldn’t leave a positive review.

Clean but rundown
Good location and kind and caring front desk staff, however, the room itself was not in good condition. The bed was uncomfortable, just an old, worn mattress and overused lumpy pillows. You can manage for a night but for anything longer I would suggest elsewhere for comfort. The room itself was clean and smelled clean. The reason for my dissatisfied review was for security issues. The door itself had no latch, no locking mechanism. The deadbolt held the door closed thankfully but since there was no plate for the lock on the door you could see inside the room from the hallway. The extra security latch at the top of the door looks like it had been broken off, it was hanging down and unusable. Looks like someone broke in the door. I had my 4 yo with me and didn't feel especially safe. They did offer us a refund but it was too late at night with a little one to try to find another hotel. They should keep better tabs on room conditions. Breakfast was kind of pathetic. Oatmeal packets, Knott's cookies, and Yoohoos. They had a little sausage sandwich that you microwave but only put out a couple at a time so they were gone right away.
