Prachtig huis op Louis Head Beach te huur.

Deze prachtige woning is gelegen op acht hectare met een kwart mijl van prive-strand voorgevel. Het huis ligt aan het einde van het strand op de kruising van de Atlantische Oceaan en de rivier de Sable.
Dit in 2009 gebouwde, 2.300 vierkante meter grote landgoed heeft drie woonlagen met een prachtig uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan in het oosten en de Sable River in het westen. Het huis is aan drie zijden omgeven door een groot buitenterras op het eerste niveau en een dek uit de slaapkamer op het tweede niveau.
Het strandhuis heeft vier slaapkamers en twee badkamers. De binnenkant van het huis was gebouwd van natuurlijk hout door een meester timmerman om de prachtige natuurlijke omgeving buiten beter aan te vullen. De vele voorzieningen die worden geboden zijn onder andere Wi-Fi; kabeltelevisie op twee niveaus; gasgrill; was-en droogautomaat; lakens, handdoeken en een volledig uitgeruste keuken; vissen en clamming benodigdheden; en een paar kajaks.
Louis Head Beach is een twee mijl lange zandstrand met beide diepere gebieden ideaal om te vissen en ondiepe gebieden ideaal om te zwemmen, body surfen of kajakken op zee.
Om te dineren, musea en andere activiteiten te ondernemen, ligt de pittoreske badplaats Shelburne op ongeveer 30 minuten afstand. Nog dichterbij, op ongeveer 15 minuten afstand, ligt Lockeport, bekend om zijn prachtige Crescent Beach. Voor een grote city-ervaring is Halifax ongeveer twee uur rijden naar het noordoosten.

We had a fantastic time at the Louis Head cottage. David was very helpful and responsive to any of my questions. We spent most of our days in and around the private property with activities like clam digging, mackerel fishing, swimming, and beach combing. The cottage itself was very comfortable and much bigger than I expected so we could spread out and had our own space. The expansive Louis Head beach was amazing and most days we had it to ourselves. Carters beach close by seems to draw much of the beach crowd from the area leaving this a pristine paradise. Thank you David for your hospitality. We would love to return in the future. This cottage is one of the nicest I have stayed in and of course the beach is wonderful ...long, powdery white sand with almost no seaweed ...excellent for walking as it is so flat and very good for children. We swam as well. It is close to the towns of Lockeport with more beaches and tourist things, a nice restaurant; Shelburne with a very nice waterfront.There is a very nice BBQ, outdoor shower and plenty of room in the cottage and on the deck. Beds were comfortable. Bunnies in the yard. We will probably stay here again although we like to go to different places in the province, this really hit all the boxes!

Excellent Location

We had a lovely time! Spent all day on the beach. The children loved digging holes and making sand castles. Beach sand makes this feel like a tropical getaway. House is huge. We never even used the downstairs with 6 of us. Could have easily had another couple with us. Would recommend this hidden gem and we look forward to booking again!

A blissful private retreat

We had 7 people in all (one a toddler) and the house accomodated us perfectly. It was spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. The only issue we had was poor satlite for the TV ... constant "blips". That was not important to me, but some in my family were disappointed by that. The beach is absolutely incredible, and the location is blissfully quiet and private. David and his wife were helpful and accomodating whenever I had a question. Some days were spent simply enjoying the wonderful beach, on others we made day trips to towns and villages around the south shore, and returned to our sanctuary at night, This vacation was blissful, and I will recommend this location every chance I get!

Louis Head Beach Tranquility

This is a quiet, tranquil setting with a long stretch of pristine, sandy beach right out the front door. Most times we were the only people on what seemed to be our own private beach. The house is extremely clean and we enjoyed sitting in the sun on the deck watching the chipmunks feast on the wild strawberries in the lawn. Totally relaxing and a completely enjoyable east coast experience.

Superb house and property

This is our second time staying at this lovely beach house in Louis Head. It is totally private and just a short walk to the beach. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have seen in NS and most of the time there was nobody on it but us. We had intended to do some exploring of the south shore on this visit but the property was just too beautiful to leave!

Exceptional experience
