'Very nicely sized apartment, with beautiful view and gracious hosts. We were super late, not checking in until after midnight and they accommodated us and responded quickly to all our messages. Great spot, especially if you are going to the Plitvice lakes from the south.'

'Finding House Karakas was easy and after a friendly welcome we were shown our spotlessly clean room. The owners run a very tight ship (in the most positive sense of the word) and everything looks immaculate. Parking is easy and the Plitvicka National Park is about 20 minutes away by car (entrance 2). The only drawbacks were the limited hot water supply in the shower and the fact that the complex is somewhat noisy, i.e. it is fairly easy to hear (loud) voices coming from other rooms. '
