No A/C in the building. It was probably okay before. For me, it was a bit painful as I stayed while the temp reached to 35 Celsius degree. Otherwise, I like this property!

It a nice hotel in a very strategic location. Super close to a bus stop and a walking distance the chapel bridge. The reception was very friendly, they made us feel welcome. The room was spacious, though the bathroom is smaller and doesn’t have a tub. Our room was spacious, we were so happy with the size. Though i wish the plcae a bigger carpet, i’m it’ll make the room look even more nicer.

I loved that this property was in a central location to most things. We could walk pretty much everywhere and if we didn’t, we’d hop on the bus with our free bus passes provided by the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the views from the room were absolutely beautiful. We had a perfect view of Mt. Piatus from our window. Breakfast served every morning was fresh and delicious. We didn’t try dinner, but the drinks made were also very good. Overall, this property was super pretty, clean and conveniently located.

Eine wirklich schöne und angenehme Unterkunft. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und leckere Speisen. Das Hotel ist fußläufig vom Bahnhof gut zu erreichen und hat eine zentrale Lage. Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

Paid for superior room but got standard.
The personnel is friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good, close to the center and the train station. The breakfast is very good, with a wide variety of quality products. Maybe natural orange juice would be a point to improve, but in general we were satisfied. The restaurant offers very good grilled meat, it’s worth trying (not cheap, though). The only downside is that we had booked and paid for the “superior room with balcony (large - 23 m2)”, and we only got the “standard medium room (18 m2)”. So we were a bit disappointed about it. Every thing else was fine

We would never downgrade a reservation. Please note that all our rooms are uniquely designed and may therefore vary, however the standard, equipment and the amenities do not. We do not have any Standard Medium rooms with balconies. Modern, colorful, trendy vibe and decor. Friendly staff. Excellent location near the river and a short walk from the historic church, shopping and the old wooden bridge Kapellbruecke. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Only minus was that mini bar fridge was not included in some rooms. Included breakfast was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Anker! The breakfast was amazing, the drinks were great, the hotel has a lot of character, and we loved that they allow pets. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay ❤️ We had the best time for my Birthday and our 36th Anniversary. Staff were the best . Super helpful. So close to train and boats . It sure made getting around Switzerland 🇨🇭 super easy. We diffinelty would go back.

Funky/modern re-envisioning of a grand hotel
We had a lovely if short stay. The hotel was comfortable, open, and restful. The restaurant's breakfast buffet was amazing, and made us sorry we hadn't eaten there for dinner!

I spent 2 nights here and would have stayed longer if my itinerary had allowed. This is not a fancy hotel but it has a cool and simple vibe, my room was small but very well designed and comfortable, the staff are excellent, the breakfast is included and very generous and the location is unbeatable - all at reasonable prices. I particularly liked the small and funky public seating area on the third floor where I could sit comfortably and read my book or watch videos; vibrant velour chairs with ottomans to rest your feet and bright little tables. The restaurant was also very good. If you are looking for a place to stay in Lucerne, check this out.
