'Magnificent views and wildlife was amazing.'

'Overall I would stay again, but I think it would be better in the summer. Positives: Great location for exploring south Bruny Island, and handy to the local hotel for meals (we didn't use the cooking facilities). The washing machine was handy, and the shower and hot water was good. Not so positive: The property was a bit cold, even though we used the air conditioner before lighting the wood fire. 'This little gem was just amazing! Just down the road from family so VERY convenient! Home had absolutley everything we needed. Wonderful sun soaked back deck with garden setting and lounge. Beautiful veiws out front, great kitchen and loungeroom! Cant wait to get back again this year!'

'Loved the stay at the Pier House. What a fabulous view from the living room and balcony. Surrounded by sea and moutnains and amongst the local wildlife. Amenities in the kitchen and laundry were certainly above average and the rooms and bathroom were simple but all you needed. Would love to come back and explore the shore and rocks again.'

'Dog friendly, and great location. However you may need to be aware that the access to main living space is up 14 wooden stairs. We had to teach our to go up and down, slowly. I would imagine some older people having difficulty with this too.'

'We booked this accommodation as a 4-day fieldwork base. The mill house has its idiosyncrasies. As long as you set your expectations for camping conditions in a remote part of the world, you will find the structure to be sufficient. The location is spectacular and the jetty is very impressive. All team members expressed their satisfaction with their stay and would book it again for similar work.'

'My friend and I stayed a couple of nights in this cute and cosy shack at Alonnah. It was super clean and in a great location to explore Bruny. The only minor issue we came across was that the door to the second bedroom couldn't close (due to the bed frame preventing the door from swinging closed). Otherwise it was great, thanks!'
