'Unfortunately the room requested was not available as we had our small dog with us so were allocated a dog friendly room which was fine but it only had a 4’6 bed which really is not expected these days. Following the downgrading of the room by the hotel and being advised that the room requested would be cheaper. The new price unfortunately was not honoured despite numerous requests for a refund so overall not the best experience.'

'Terrible! Worst experience in a hotel ever! The outside building and front look nice but it’s a facade. Our room was on the backside, you have to pass a trash area and an ugly fence to get there, feels like you are put behind in a shed somewhere. The stairs up to the room were dirty and worn out. 'Such a lovely, clean and comfortable place. Right from the friendly welcome by Matt through to the personal attention and friendly goodbye by both Mel and Matt, our stay was to write home about! Comfy room with all amenities and the breakfast!!! Cannot be beaten! Matt was always willing and able to give lots of advice re tourist sites, restaurants, etc. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach and Boscombe Pier with lots of restaurants and activities for young and old. No doubt we'd stay...
