The house was as advertised! it was secluded and quiet and the kitchen came fully appointed with pots, pans, utensils, plates, silverware, you name it. 'While visiting Charlottesville for a wedding, our family stayed at this beautiful farm house for the weekend. We absolutely loved it and hope to return next year. It was the perfect place to have our children run around and play. They loved feeding the baby goat with a bottle and helped collect eggs. Bill and Cynthia were the perfect hosts. 'The house is terrific, different hang out spaces, a dedicated office space and strong Wi Fi. Outside fire ring and chairs with wood provided. The primary suite is on main and is really large… the beds are very comfortable. A cedar lined primary closet and a lovely claw foot tub. Good kitchen well stocked with cooking needs. We loved staying here and will be back.'

'This little housse is like a very good cabin. 2 private bedrooms with one shared bath. Very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for a good stay. New appliances and heating system, back deck has wonderful private view of the woods. Very quiet and restful, yet right in the middle of Staunton. All amenities were minutes from the house. Very clean and had a very interesting history to the house. Yet great modern renovation. Would definitely visit again. The host even left wine for us...

I couldn’t believe all the little “extras” that were there like k-cups, spices, and just every little detail was thoughtfully in place. 'This was such a peaceful, perfect location with an incredible view up on the mountain! It was like an escape from the real world and felt so refreshing. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. great road hotel, will stay again.
"Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. Breakfast was quite varied, with as well choices for a healthy breakfast, though also very sugar loaded choices. Service at breakfast was perfect, the ladies kept all super clean and tidy!! Environmentally the breakfast was horrible, only Styrofoam, even melting plates under my toasted bagel, coffee cups melting, cutlery just unusable - please change to paper (recyclables)!? didn't use the gym or pool, but gym looked light and spacious. would stay again!"
