This is a great property for a weekend getaway and dive spot. Great pools food is good and decently priced. Accept credit cards at the restaurant. You can park at the resort parking lot and ride a shuttle down to resort.

Fantastic staff. Super helpful and accommodating. Very friendly, very easy to deal with. The property itself is beautiful and very harmonious with surrounding nature. Great views from the dining room and best of all there is a dive shop on premises! The food was delicious as well. A fantastic all inclusive resort and incredible value for the price!

Don't go!
I can simply not express how disappointed I was with my stay. First of all the service was none existing and simple instructions to staff was not followed. Food was slopy and very much below par and not at all a match between the price. They had more or less half of what was on the menu and it was really poor quality. Staff had zero to no training and were less than attentive. The room was dirty and the shower head was so filled with limescale that more water went to the sealing. The beds were old an uncomfortable and infested with bedbugs. both my wife and I got bitten. The Air condition sounded like an airplane and it was impossible to sleep with the AC on. There was no internet in any of the rooms and the only internet that worked was in the reception as the one in the restaurant was no longer connected! When I informed them that I did not want to pay for the service charge I was treated like a criminal and told I had to pay as this was how things worked. Service charge is optional in restaurants and hotels in the Philippines and it was only when I proved that I was right that they reluctantly removed the service charge from my bill. I have traveled all over the world and yet this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Really hope they change management.

Fab views, great pools and restaurant.
Location is fabulous (though remote). The swimming pools are superb, well maintained and clean. Loved the expansive restaurant and the views are to die for. Snorkelling good too. The rooms are dated and need attention but don’t let that put you off. We loved this place.

Over all a nice place to stay. Great service. Helpful staff. Facilities are a bit old but clean and serviceable. If traveling with children and elderly better call and ask for rooms near the main reception as some of the cottages may be difficult for them to get to.

Leaking roof
The roof/ceiling had a leak that always resulted to having a small pond of water in the room everytime it rains. Reported this immediately on the first day but their solution was to wipe the floor dry and leave a towel to absorb any drip as if saying i just have to live with it. A room transfer would have been a better solution

We like the clean beach front. Good for snorkling and diving. We are not so pleased with the first meal we had when we got there but the suceeding meals were great.

Nothing i really like, the rooms are terrible the toilet doesnt flush. Very dirty floors, food is expensive and its not good. We ordered pizza they served us not cooked. In the morning we had breakfast it was in a dirty glass. All i can say i never going back again.

First i call 3hrs b4 2pm.i check my reservation they say i dont have reservation.i ask them if there is availabale room they say yes you can check in now.we arive 12noon and i check in and the front office they sag i dont have reservation i need to wait.i give my compirmation e-mail provided by you.she call someone.finaly she say no room available we need to wait.we waited to the loby more than 2hrs.i they give us a room very far from and very dangerous at night you can not see that much.after 2 days we desided to check out 9am in the morning.because my son get bite by gelly fish wile we are sknorkeling i went to front desk i ask for first aid the say the nurse is not there so i ask my self of vinegar and the waiter give me vinegar from the table use for sauce.that why we decided to check out one day earliyer to bring my son to the hospital.verry poor staff.

Snorkeling was just in front of the resort. The waters were crystal clear and the coral were okay with lots of fish. The staff was awesome.

Terrible!
Don't be misled by "luxurious and yet affordable getaway for couples, family, and groups". What will greet you are run down and outdated facilities. Stayed at one of their seaside cottages; the room was stuffy and warm, it had an old and noisy a/c unit. It had a tiny bathroom with barely any water pressure. The mattress was hard, pillows and sheets were disgusting! Limited dining choices, barely any seafood on the menu. Food was way too overpriced based on the quality of what they serve. You can do snorkeling at the resort beachfront; spotted some interesting and good-sized fish, but sadly the beachfront was riddled with trash. The saltwater pool no longer has the baby sharks, we were told the DENR had them released back into the wild. We did a day trip to Sepoc Island where snorkeling was much better. The boat they supplied didn't have any shade for the pax. We originally booked a 3 day/2 night stay, but decided to cut our trip short. We will be back in Anilao, but will definitely try the newer resorts along the Mabini beach strip.

Beautiful location but poor facilities
The location is beautiful and the scenery is amazing. But like most owners in the Philippines the concept of repair and maintenance does not exist. It takes around 2 minutes to get wet in the shower. Everything is iworn down and poor condition or quality. The food is OK. Expedia advertised free WiFi but that isn’t true. It’s free in the restaurant and lobby. You have to pay extra to use in the room and the connection is very poor. We paid for 24 hours but couldn’t use it more than 29 minutes as we had to reconnect every few minutes and gave up. we won’t go back and will try to find another resort as we loved the scenery in this area.

Nice View from the room but BEWARE!!!
The rooms were generally good, good airconditioning, nice view from the room. However, we felt unsafe going there. The roads were steep & narrow w/ several sharp curves & uphill (one way lane only) & the sides are almost considered as cliff. They didn’t inform me about the road when I called them to confirm my reservation and they didn’t even mention that they offer free pick up service from the main road (since the roads going to their place are really dangerous). We’re a family of 22(with kids and baby) and we’re almost full in our vehicle including our bagages (if I only knew about their road, I would opt for 2 vehicles or we would ask for a free pick up service). Thus, our driver had difficulty driving and we had to turn to the side to give way to the cars behind us since they were in a hurry. Hence, our front wheels got stuck in the soil since it drizzled. We had to get off our vehicle and walk to the parking area. It would be much easier for us to walk even if the road was too steep (downhill & you might fall and roll down to your destination especially if the road is slippery when wet) if it didn’t rain. I was just concerned about my baby’s safety together with the rest of our family. When we got there, we needed to walk for extra “meters” and climb a lot to get to our rooms (they’re far from the main lobby/ resto and pool area). Thus, my mom’s BP got higher & I had an Asthma attack.I was also informed before that extra person costs 800++ but they charged me 1000.

Great vacation spot, but don't pay full price
I enjoyed my time at Eagle Point. The staff were great, the food was exceptional, and the view was amazing. I shared the cost of visiting their private island with another guest and I can honestly say that their private beach is the best beach I've been to in the Batangas. That being said, I'm still not sure I can recommend paying full price for this resort. If you can get it at a discount, great. But $90+ is just unreasonable for what eagle Point is. The rooms are good, but they're not $90+ good. Also, as I said, the food is great, but it's expensive. If you want to kick back with a San Miguel, they will charge you "corkage fees" which is something I had never heard of. All in all, it's a great place, but not worth the current price tag.

We are seasoned travellers my husband and I. This resort was perfect for our family. Rooms were decent and clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Property has lots of stairs as it is overlooking the beach. We managed fine but I can see perhaps location would be difficult for those with mobility issues. Overall nice resort and well maintained grounds. Best adobo we've had at the restaurant.

The design is very nice but also worn down. The hotel is way off the main road so leaving it to do something is out of the question. The prices reflects this and are on the high side. We had to pay almost 3 times the price to get back to Manila that we paid coming down.

Very disappointed, money hungry attitude
It began with the front desk staff raving about our room having a queen bed as requested. When we got to the room it had two twin beds pushed together, nothing like requested. The balcony didn't match the online pictures. When I returned to front desk they told me first I got exactly as booked. Wow...so I had to push to even get a queen sized bed...but never did get the proper terrace room...you can see hotel has only 2 rooms that would appear as they show online for the terrace room. So first lie to customer. Second they advertised a baby shark in their enclosed pool to swim with. Well the reality is the baby shark was released long ago. Restaurant advertises the price of meals....then in fine print automatically adds 10 % extra charge to your bill...very fine print at bottoms of menu. Other services would be advertised at one price and then they ask you to pay more afterwards. Honeymoon package advertised at a price per night....only to find out that price is per person...who would want a honeymoon package for one? (Even if it had clearly stated per person pricing) WiFi only available in restaurant and very poor even then. On the good side some staff are very friendly and Good, room was clean. A few of the staff were too quick to be defensive about the facilities and thus wouldn't listen. I can't see myself going back....even with the incredible location.

Hotel, staff are okay. Overall, the landscaping and design are really for active clients, not for senior citizens with weak knees or PWDs especially the stairs and up and down trail to cottages.Water is clear although some plastic and waste have started to dot the shore. Snorkeling and diving in front of hotel is overrated. Even the Cepoc Island beach snorkling is disappointing unless one ventures out deeper yet the variety of fish and corrals are limited. Kayaking is great though.

Hotel is generally clean and tidy, if not a little tired. Our room was adequate, but no phone, unstable tv and previous occupant's towels left behind, made us wonder about care and attention. Forget about eating between 9.30pm and 7am as there are no food options and nothing nearby. The bar closes at 10pm. Staff were friendly and courteous, however it was a case of always having to return to them after finding out their information was not accurate. This was particular regarding 'hotel facilities'. Service at the pool was non existent. That being said, the views and the location are wonderful. If diving on a budget is your thing, this location does it. We will not be returning.
