"The only reason I did not give it a five star: in the mornings I woke up early and went up to have breakfast. I tried to pick a a cup of tea and some fruits for my wife, who does not like elevators (the restaurante is in the top floor) and I could not. The hotel has a policy in place that prohibits anyone of taking any food or drink away from the restaurant, even if breakfast is already included in the room price! This is the most ridiculous policy I have ever seen in a hotel!"

"The hotel is quite well located near the Novo Cavaleiros area, cross a busy street and you can get to some restaurants that are near the beach. Check-in was fine, the receptionist had great English skills, parking is free and the reception area clean. The room itself was fine, the bathroom rather dated though the shower wasn't exactly a "power shower" but adequate. One issue that was "painful" was the bed. "My bathroom was disgusting. Black mold all around the bat tub and glass sliding door. I immediately asked for another room. My new room was better but my bed sheets were a shade of grey not white. Then my AC stopped working and my room safe did not work. I was moved to a 3rd room which was about the same. But my room safe did not work. I reported it and someone looked at it and said he would come back. He never did. In the morning there was no hot water. I checked out."
