'Staff was a little impersonal - not unfriendly, but not welcoming either. The check-in process seemed purely transactional. The hotel room itself was in disrepair - exposed carpet tacks; lamps without shades; facial tissue plugging up holes in walls; disconnected smoke alarms. The bed linens were clean, at least. '

'Only interacted with one staff member who was excellent. He prepared the breakfast included in the room rate - not a typical menu. Excellent eggs, biscuits and gravy, very friendly, provided me a complimentary upgrade to a two room suite. Beyond my expectations'
