Negatief: Staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
We arrived back at the hotel at around 8:30p, and immediately upon entering the elevator, we smelled marijuana. We took the elevator up to the second floor and the entire floor smelled strongly of marijuana. I went back down to the first floor to report this and the man working at the front desk was incredibly rude. There were no other guests standing there, and he was not on the phone, but he told me he would help me in a minute. He eventually said he would go upstairs and check on the issue when he was done with whatever he was doing (he was wearing an AirPod so appeared to be on a personal call), I said I would wait. I followed him back up to the second floor and he then located the person who was smoking. I tried to ask him what was being done but he wouldn’t tell me.
The hotel was full of young children, teenage boys were apparently staying there for a hockey tournament and we were there for a dance competition. My daughter was scared and had a hard time falling asleep. The man at the desk was incredibly rude and did nothing to ease my fear that everything was being taken care of. When I asked the man what the laws were in Wisconsin for marijuana, he said he did not know. I thought that was strange as he appeared to be the sole person in charge of the entire hotel for the evening.
This dance competition is a yearly event and we will not be staying there again.
