Perfect alternatief voor dure hotelkamer zonder het opgeven van luxe of bestemming! Prachtig historisch gebouw volledig gerenoveerd met alle moderne voorzieningen en lift, het gebouw is volledig nieuw binnen, maar met originele gevel buiten op populaire Huertas straat, zeer dicht bij Prado, Thyssen en Reina Sofia Museum en het Palacio Real (koninklijk paleis), in historische binnenstad centrum van Madrid, de beroemde Barrio de las Letras.

Het appartement heeft een zeer comfortabel queensize bed (160 cm)
en 2 slaapbanken in de woonkamer. De slaapkamer heeft 3 muren en is niet helemaal privé. Je kunt het op de foto's zien.

Ik heb de afgelopen tien jaar woonde in Madrid, blij om u te helpen kiezen voor de beste plaatsen om in en rond Madrid te bezoeken. Het appartement ligt vlak naast het Plaza de Santa Ana. In de buurt van Puerta del Sol en het Plaza Mayor en de musea. U kunt lopen naar La Cava Baja, een straat vol met restaurants en barretjes. Ook de Mercado de San Miguel een geweldige ontmoetingsplek en heerlijke tapas!

De Metro metrostation ligt op een steenworp afstand, zodat u gemakkelijk te verplaatsen rond Madrid, evenals een korte wandeling naar het Atocha centraal station, van waaruit u kunt gemakkelijk te nemen van de high-speed bullet train AVE naar Toledo, Segovia of Avila, of langere uitstapjes naar Sevilla, Alicante of Barcelona.

This apartment was wonderful. The owner and property manager were very conscientious and attentive. The location is a 5-minute walk to the metro (Antón Martín). The neighborhood itself is walkable to a number of other great neighborhoods and attractions. While Calle de las Huertas has a number of restaurants and clubs, the walls of the building were so think that I hardly heard any sound outside when going to sleep. I was on a work trip, but this apartment would also be great for individuals or couples of all ages looking to explore the city.

A very comfortable apartment in an excellent location with many restaurants and a grocery store steps away. The apartment was very clean with many kitchen amenities. Fantastic Place in Barrio de las Letras in Madrid!

My partner and I enjoyed a week at this lovely apartment in Barrio de las Letras in Madrid. Our host communicated very well with us and made the process a breeze for this VBRO first-timer. The inside has hardwood floors, is tastefully decorated, and is well-equipped with amenities. The view from the balcony is truly enchanting- and there’s even a flea market right outside your door on Saturday afternoons! The neighborhood is centrally located and the dining and entertainment options, even just in this area, are endless. You can walk to many of Madrid’s great attractions such as the Prado or Retiro. We found the neighborhood to be safe. A great choice!

Fantastic little apartment !

We were very happy with apt 1C. If you are looking for a centrally located apt in Madrid where you can explore everything by foot this is it. The apt is in a lovely, secure building on a tree lined pedestrian only street with tons of cafes, shops and restaurants a stones throw away. We loved the tall ceilings and little shuttered balcony. It’s very clean, comfortable, well stocked and nicely decorated. I was a little concerned about recent reviews saying it’s noisy but it was quiet every night except for Saturday night with some rowdy partiers on the street. But even then, it wasn’t a big deal at all. Just close the windows and shutters and it helps. We would 100% book this apt again.

Great apartment & neighborhood but noisy at night.

The apartment is nice and in a good central location. Neighborhood is lively with restaurants, shops etc. The issue we found was there’s a night club below that opens around 10pm and goes til 4am or so. It gets loud with people hanging out in front smoking, yelling, laughing etc. I had to sleep with earplugs every night which wasn’t the worst thing but not what I’m looking for on a vacation. Other than the club issue the apartment is great along with owner Greta and the ladies that work for her.

Perfect for a family of 3

Overall a great property. Has everything you need. It’s well appointed & super clean. Communication was on point and the host even provides wonderful recommendations. Literally only hiccup is that it is in the best location because it is in the middle of everything but with that came some noise issues. Really just Fri and Sat night when ppl stayed up later. But otherwise a perfect place.

Disappointing stay

My husband and I stayed at this property for one week in March. My contact with Gorete was excellent and she has many useful recommendations.We were not greeted by her but by her assistant Alicia. Between the time she opened the door and left after having “explained” how things worked in the apartment was 4 minutes tops.The apartment is a suite and not a one bedroom- there are partitions separating the liviving room from the bed and the bed from the bathroom.It is relatively well-equipped and is well situated for many must see sites in Madrid.There is also a good restaurant just downstairs.The real downside of the apartment is the noise. There is a bar 2 doors away and a youth hostel a few hundred meters up the street. The partying is nightly in the street until 4 am.Gorete had told me that she had inner courtyard apartments that were quieter but darker, but we never expected that amount of noise so late into the night or early morning.

Beautiful space!

This is our second time staying with Goreta, in 2016 we stayed in the apartment next door. The building is safe and secure. The location is fantastic. And Goreta and Alicia are absolutely wonderful. It can be a bit loud from the street noise, but closing the shutters helps with that. Next time we are in Madrid there is no doubt where we will be staying.
