'We were a little sceptical about Galleon Beach Resort due to limited reviews but we did not regret booking. Upon arrival Talia showed us down to Sea Breeze - cottage number 10. 'It was really special to stay in Nelson’s Dockyard. We stayed in the lofts and it was very relaxing. Only downside is the walls are paper thin (old building, I should have expected this) so bring ear plugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper! Restaurants were great at the hotel and the area is very walkable. There’s a complimentary boat to take you to Galleon Bay, which was a really nice beach.'

'I stayed at the Moxy because of its central location between Falmouth Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard. The hotel manager makes you feel at home. I stayed in a room for two persons which is quite luxury. The one person rooms are a bit more basic but have everything you need. I enjoyed my stay over here and it felt like home for a week.'

Second, there was no remote control for the air conditioner unit in the main living area downstairs so it could not be turned on. 'Overall we loved our stay and would like to call out how lovely the majority of the staff were. Shamara initially checked us in and she was super helpful, polite and welcoming. Whislt we were there many of the staff (including Ivanna, Enrique and many others) were always so polite and smiley. It makes such a difference. We had a lovely taxi driver lrganised by the hotel named Michelle, she was great and reccomended lots of sightseeing opportunities/ things to do. 100% would reccomend the tirtle...

'location was hard to find as you have to use the location given in Expedia. Place was in a nice quiet location. Areas of improvement: sink water was running very very very slowly. Need sink replaced. Toilet would run more often on the second/third day and having to manually hold the stopper down was too much. WiFi was spotty which could have been due to the location. Scenery was beautiful, management was responsive and helpful. Parking is also scarce. I would book again as a 5:6:7th option for...
