'This weekend was a perfect get away. The house was cute and quaint. We felt comfortable and at home while staying here. We have two little boys and they absolutely loved the yard, beach and dock. They spent all day playing in the water and sand letting their imaginations run wild. The lake was perfect for cruises, fishing was hit and miss this weekend but still caught a Northern, large mouth bass and little blue gills. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice get away weekend...

'We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. To the owners may want to add more dish towels or a drainer for under drying rack and a new toaster as you have to unplug it to get the toast to come up.'

'We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our family spent a lot of time down on the dock fishing and spending time on our paddleboat. The kids loved the choices of places to sleep. They had everything we could possibly want. So convenient and it was beautiful inside. The only con was that the upstairs was warm, even with the air on. We will definitely stay there again.'

'This cabin was gorgeous! The views of the small lake were amazing, the fire pit area was great and everything worked. The cabin is beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for a great stay. The only negatives to this place were that it did not have Wi-Fi and the tv in the basement is pretty small for the space. Those did not impact us much as we enjoyed the beautiful outdoors and took in all that nature had to offer.'

'We stayed 3 nights in mid-October. The cabin was cozy and wood burning fireplace was great with the chilly nights. Even had time to take the canoe out to Beer Can Island!!!'

'The house was fantastic. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the trip! Only thing that could have been a bit better was the bedroom on the lake side and the bunk room (especially the bunk room) were pretty cold. Regardless of that though we had a great time!'

'My party really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was as advertised. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The location is wonderful. The lake is quiet, and private, with the occasional jetski or speedboat cruising around. My party took full advantage of the kayaks and enjoyed the lake, and the awesome views. The property is close enough to Minocqua that we spent quite a bit of time shopping, dining and hiking there. Highly recommend.'

'The cabin was nice and quiet. Neighbors were very nice and helpful. The scenery was beautiful. There was really no decent place to park our pontoon trailer and the dock that was pictured online was not the dock for roadside 1 cabin. We had to ask the neighbor which dock to use. And the entry to the dock was over grown with lake weeds which made a tripping hazard. A friendly suggestion is to have a sign directing which dock to use. Also, we had to ask the neighbor as to where the garbage and...

'The snowmobile trails weren’t open, so this house on Curtis Lake helped us take those blues away on our family getaway. Spent most of the time cooking, watching the football games and playing a lot of the games that were there. A great family vacation and would definitely return.'
